14. I think I like you more than that

After Jeno was treated by the doctor he was told to rest, but he could go back home after he receives the list of medicine he should take. Waiting for the nurse to get meck to both of them, they waited a bit before they got spotted by Hyena's mom and Changmin 

"Hyena sweetie, have you waited long for us?" her  other asked not noticing Jeno who was walking toward them 

"no, not really" she smiled but turned around when she saw Changmin glaring behind her as  Jacob frowned

she knew just by their reactions who was behind  her, shaking her head a bit she turned to face Jeno who walked towards her not noticing anyone from her family as he checked the bills 

"Hyena we can go now I got the- oh... hello Mrs. Bae" he bowed awkwardly as he saw who was now in front of him 

"what are you doing with my sister?" Jacob asked irritated by presence of the younger boy as Changbin was holding himself not to beat him up more than he already was 

"I was just talking to her" Jeno said as cold as Jacob, making Changbin scoff 

"you fucking dumbshit-"

"Changbin calm down" Hyena cut him off as he sighed 

"Hyena shut up, you should also like us, be mad at him. You're blind for going back and forgiving that fuck boy" 

"Can you not butt in my fuckin business this time?" she spat back 

"both of you stop it immediately," Their mother said as she sighed "Hyena you should go back to your friends, they're probably expecting you to soon get to them, Jeno please take her safely back and you also should take care" she smiled before turning to her two sons "and you two, go home and get the dinner ready, we'll be having guests for the dinner" 

"but-"

"no buts Jacob, I know you care about your sister but she's a grown-up woman now. And even if Jeno would like to hurt her again, I'll make sure he could never lay eye on my daughter" she said looking from Jacob to Jeno who was taken back "so please, listen to what I said because I wanna talk to these two" 

"yes mom," the two siblings said before leaving them alone 

"Mrs. Bae I'm-"

"you shouldn't apologize to me but my daughter and explain why you hurt her so much, she had a rough time mainly because of you. Did your mother not teach you how to threaten a woman? I'm ashamed of what you did because I knew you're different and I could see it just how my daughter did before breaking down by your blindness and ignorance" she said 

"mom okay that's enough..." Hyena hold her mom's hand as she sighed 

"just so you two know, you must be honest with each other to fix and build up your relationship. No matter as lovers or friends" she said before crossing her daughter's hand and leaving 

"I'm sorry for the sudden attack from their side tho" she chuckled as she turned to face Jeno

"no you shouldn't be because your mom and brothers are right, that's why I wanted to talk to you and explain stuff you never knew reasons why happened, you deserve to know the truth," he said as he holds her hand dragging her towards the other side of the hospital to different exid

"Jeno wtf that's emergency exid, we can't use it-"

"We can only if we run" he looked back at her winking before starting to run, making the girl also speed up before passing by the bodyguards and entering the exid
