20. beautiful life

Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, month, years passed by...

Stories of each continued having more and more moments in their lives worth remembering.

Everyone pretty much grew old, and still stayed best friends like how they were in they young adult moment.

Living all together in the same Retirement Center they only could joke and tell the voluntaries about their childhood and youngh. It was their favorite thing to do, as they always remembers how good and funny their lives were...

"You really had a beautiful life Aunty Bae"  one of the voluntaries said as she giggled

"Best love story worth being put in a book!" Other said as the older now Hyena smiled

"My wrinkles and years I've lived though, can confirm your stories also will be as full of Beautiful moments just as mine" she said as she looked at her sleeping husband

"You must really love him..."

"I do" she said with a smile "i do and I'll always will, in wealth and poor, in health and sickness" she smiled

"Your husband is the luckiest man"

"I agree with you on that one Aye" her friend said

"Girl, how about you leaves us two alone?" Suddenly the older man woke up and they nodded with smiled laughing as they leave

"Why did you made them leave?" Hyena laughed as her husband sat from his chair and looked at his wife

"I wanted to spend time with you only" he winked a bit off time, he was alredy in his 80's like how Hyena was "let me take you out for a walk" he said as he lead her a hand

"Oh my, with pleasure" she said as she took his hand and they slowly walked out to their favorite spot, the garden

Walking around the place they adored the silence and beautiful blooming flowers, then warm breeze and all the heat last 10 years they spend here. How their grandchildren visited them and told stories about their school, their children still spoiling them with love and respect... It was all Beautiful to them

"Jeno... My love, let's have a seat here" she said as she pointed at the bench near the Cherry tree

"As you wish my love" he said as he lead her the way

"I don't think I've been more happier in my life" she said softly as she hold her husband's hand, her head placed in his shoulder

"Me neither... I could say I'm ready to go and accept that my time is finishing" he joked as he hugged his wife, he knew she was more sick than he was, but sometimes he hoped he could've died at the same time she would, so they continue being together even in the afterlife

"Stop joking silly" she said as she slapped his arm before coughing badly

"Are you okay my love-"

"I-im fine" she said with a warming rescue smile "I've always been strong"

"I'm aware of that" he smiled as he looked into her eyes "we should head back" he said

"Let's stay like this... For a moment more" she said as she looking into sun slowly setting down making the garden look even more beautiful "let's wait till sun sets"

And so they did, in silence they loved spending time with, the nature sound was relaxing and always made them remember their best times

Soon when the sun set Jeno felt something in him slowing down, he looked at his wife as she smiled with tears slipping though her cheeks

"Love... Why are you crying? Are you sad?" He asked worried as she looked at him with a smile

"No... The opposite" she chuckled " I'm happy, I'm happy I'm spending my lastest moment with love of my life, and that I could be able to see such a beautiful colorful sunset" she said holding his hands

"Don't say it like it's your last time here" he sheet a tear " I'm not ready to lose you forever my love" he hold her hands tightly

"Silly... I won't be gone for too long, its only a short nap... You feel it too don't you?" She coughed "the pain in your chest, the slow down you can't explain... The need to close your eyes" she explained

Jeno felt it too, but he didn't want to believe it, he was scared he could survive it and lose his love forever, she had lower chances to wake up... He couldn't live alone after so many years with her

"Jeno, my love, don't cry" she cried "take my hand and close your eyes... In count of three" she smiled as years fall down "Don't be scared of loosing me, well both ask the right person to let us be together" she said

"You promise...?" He said thought tears as he hold her face "you promise to be together... To not let me come back and wake up without you around..?"

"I promised to be with you till the end at the moment I've married you dumbass" she coughed

"You're still mean to me after all those years" he smiled

"And I still love you like a crazy person after all those years" she smiled back

And then the clock hit 7 pm, both them smiled and held each other warmly as their eyes closed.

Did they regret anything in their lives? Would they change it if they had a chance?

No, not even a bit. They found their life as beautiful as how it started and till now, when it ended.
