"So Hyena huh?" The woman repeated as she eyed the girl "isn't she the one you told me once about... It was like 4 year ago?"

Jeno went silence as Hyena grew curios, she didn't even had to answer what she meant by that, the woman just continued

"You look way more mature now, he held few of your photos under his bed... As he must've missed you that's why he cried so much back them- at first I didn't understand why he changed from being so cooky to a softie" she giggled "you've changed my son to a grown man, sadly he still was not treating ladies correctly" she threw him a glare

"You see Mrs. Lee-"

"Oh no, you can't call me lik this, not so formal my pretty" she shook her head "it's either mom or aunt Sihwon- but mom could be the best" she winked

"Mom... Then, the story is that I just broke up with him years ago for his behaviors but he changed and I guess" she stopped "first love sometimes chooses to be the last love" 

Jeno looked at the girl with big loving eyes as his mother looked at him before holding girl's hands and smiling

"I like you, you're kind smart and also very pretty, gosh I once was like you" she laughed "I had broken up with my husband 4 times before getting married... Those relationship that grew back from a serious breakup are always the strongest after years" she tightened the grip as she smiled warmly

"Mom, dad's probably waiting-"

"Omg you're so right!" She stood up and gasped "I probably made him worried, okay then lovebirds please take care of yourself get warm and eat up the food, I'll call you tomorrow son~ oh and hold him tigh sweetie" she joked before walking out and making her way ote after waving

"Your mom is really nice" she chuckled as Jeno locked the door sighing

"Trust me, if she didn't like you, she'd throw you out of my place" he chuckled as he sat down the sofa next to her

"Why? Something like this happens before?" She titled her head curiously as he laughed shaking his head

"My one friend really once pissed her off, not like he meant it, he just said the food was not salty. He though I was the one who made it but it was my mom and well, she smacked his head and told him to make better and then he can have rights to comment on someone's cooking skill" he said as he moved the girl closer hugging her

"Woah, she's quiet sharp" she laughed

"She's scary but mostly she's joking around, she has a young soul never leaving her" he smiled

"You must really love you mother..." She said suddenly making him look at her  and nod proudly "that's sweet" she kissed his nose giggling softly

"You're sweeter" he said as he peaked her lips quickly

Smiling at each other they suddenly forgot about everything, focusing on each other they looked into others eyes as the TV still played some old songs. The only light in the room was the led lights, lamp and TV.

The two didn't feel any awkwardness or discomfort. Jeno pretty much lived how Hyena didn't bother him placing her on his lap, as she even fixed herself and scooted closer resting her hands on his shoulders as he placed both his hand on her thighs

She smiled softly as she studied his face, he did the same. Adoring how her fresh pink cheeks mixed with still slightly wet hair and plus lips with bit of check nugget sauce, he moved his hand up her lips and wiped the corner before licking it from his finger

"u had a bit of sauce" he teased as she rolled her eyes placing her head on his shoulder

"And I sat like this in front of your mom?" She groaned embarrassed as Jeno snuggled closer to her playing with her hair
