Emilie's Pov

Eric opened the car door for me and I stepped inside. He held my hand while driving. Once we got there, we looked for our reservations. We were lucky because we were able to get seats outside, where we get a perfect view of the sunset.

Lila's Pov

I invited Katie, Kathy, and Mackenzie. When they got here, we sat on the couch and made popcorn. We watched "Crush" the movie Sarah Bolger was in. Once the move was over we went up to my room and just talked. It was really fun all though I wanted to know what was happening with mom and dad but I didn't wanna interrupt so I didn't. But I knew that dad have something very special planned.

Eric's Pov

After dinner I took Emilie out and we took a walk up the park. Its was a pretty serious walk because we talked about our future.

Eric- Babe how many kids do you want?

Emilie- Since we already have Lila maybe two more. Why do you ask?

Eric- Dunno but we will have a future together so might as well find out.

We talked more until we hit the end of the park. There was a gazebo at the end. It was beautiful. Once we got in I was really to pop the question.

"Emilie. Can I ask you something?"

"Sure what is it?"

"We've known each other for years and I love you so very much. In fact I love you so much that, I want to have a family with you. I know im only doing this one time. And that one time is for you. So...

I got down on one knee and asked her.

Emilie De Ravin, will you marry me?

Emilie's Pov

I was to happy. I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.

"Yes!!" I told him. I think I didn't even know i was crying. But I was because he wiped away the tears in my eyes. He slipped the ring on my finger.

"its beautiful." after he put it on we kissed. Its was long. We would kiss for a couple of second then pull away then go back for another.

"I love you." he told me.

"I love you more."

Eric's Pov

After we both dried our tears, we took a picture and sent it to Emilie's coworkers and Lila. "its official. We're engaged!!" five minutes later we were spammed with congrats. And everything.

Lila's Pov

I turned on my phone and saw the text dad sent me. I read it and stood up from my bed then started jumping and dancing.

"Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes." I said.

"what happened?" Kathy asked.

"my parents are engaged!!"

"alright!!" they said. We all hugged. When mom and dad came home I ran to hug them. Im so excited for the wedding guys. They smiled at me and we kept hugged. I know its the beat day ever for them but its. The best day ever for me too. So. Yay!!!

3 weeks later

Its the freshmen dance next week. Im not ready. I don't have a date. I don't have a dress. I don't even know what to do. Like Uuuggghhhhh. Come on dude. I need this. Its my first dance. It sucks. What if im not asked to the dance but all my friends are. What if im asked but none of my friends are? What if the guy I have a crush on named Keith asks a girl in front of me? You know how depressing that would be? This is so difficult. And the worst part. Im the girl. I cant ask the guy. You know how awkward that is. Well we gotta just wait and see.
