I had planned to post this a few days ago but I needed to hold it for a while since I had midterms this month. Thankfully I managed to do well in most of them and I decided to post since I don't have much work this week. We are finally getting to the good parts! Yay! Thank you all for your support and love! I never though this fic will call much attention and I had done it because I wanted to try my hand at writing.

This was a stupid idea, that much Tooru knows. Takeru hummed. His legs swung back and forth as he focused his eyes out the window. It was too late to back out now. The train was far from Miyagi and there was no way for them to get off the train. Sighing, Tooru glanced at his phone. He was lucky that Kita agreed to help him. Maybe it was the fact that Takeru was with them because the albino even offered them to stay with him for the time being.
Tooru didn't want to agree to it. He had even left Kita on read for the past five minutes. The boy had already done more than enough by accepting to help them. He didn't want to take advantage of his generosity. Not when his sister had been the one that killed his family. His phone buzzed. This time it wasn't Kita who texted him. Looking at the name, he swallowed. It was Hajime, and by the looks of it, he was mad.
Iwa-chan: Tooru where the hell are you?!
Iwa-chan: I went to your house and your mom looked worried. Did something happen?
Iwa-chan: Where is Takeru?
Iwa-chan: Tooru, you better have not done something stupid
Clenching his jaw, the brunette shut his phone up. To hell with them. Sure Hajime didn't have anything to do with this nor did anyone else. And no matter how much he says it to himself, Tooru just can't help but be angry at everything. Biting his lip, he shot a text to Kita replying that he will accept his invitation. What else could he lose?
Tooru doesn't know anyone in Hyogo. And Kita may not be a friend but he still was someone who was close to Tobio. It was better than going to some other place without knowing anyone. Looking at the sky, he was reminded that he would also be seeing Tobio. How would his kohai react upon seeing him? Would he curse at him? Yell and scream? Blame him for everything?
Tooru wouldn't hold him against it if he did. Hanami and he shared the same blood and in a way, what she did was also his fault. The rational part of his brain told him it wasn't while the other one, the sinister one that always criticized him, said otherwise. He should do what Kita told him. Call someone. Glancing at his phone, Tooru sighs. Who should he call? If he called Hajime, then his friend would most definitely take the next train here. If he called Hanamaki and Matsukawa, those two would then informe Hajime. Kunimi and Kindaichi would probably try to keep it a secret. Still Tooru didn't want to add that kind of pressure to them.
Tooru would call and inform Hajime. Once he arrived that is. Shaking his head, the brunette buried those thoughts away. For now he would inform his coach that he wouldn't be able to go to practice for a few days. He'll understand, hopefully. Slowly, the setter typed his message. Ignoring the incoming texts from his team. Earlier he had also blocked his mother's number. Tooru wouldn't be able to hold his tears in if he read anything she sent his way.
Finishing the text, Tooru sent it and turned off his phone. For now the coach won't ask questions. But he knows he would need to go back soon. Takeru laid his head down on his arm. His eyes closed and his breathing even. Gently, he embraces his nephew. Why did he have to be in between all of this?
Takeru may be a rude little shit, but he was still a kid. Someone who went his whole life never knowing who his dad was and with a mother who was never there for him. Even his grandmother was rarely there. Tooru had been the only one to actually attend any events that the boy had. The setter couldn't always go to every single one but he tried.
