Ch 2 - Underground Doctor

Aria's ability overview.

Healing Crystal - Aria can produce healing crystals at will. If a person grabs and lets the crystal reacts, it'll heal them. The crystal will shatter when the healing is done. A severe wound might need more than one crystal.

Teleportation Mark - Aria can mark a person or a place by producing a small crystal. She needs to stay in range in order to teleport back to the marked target or else the crystal might shatter and the mark would be useless.

Beacon of Light - Aria can place a crystal in an area. If there are hostiles in the range of the beacon, she would be notified. If the enemy look at the crystal, they would be slowed. This beacon can be destroyed by the enemies.

Trade Offering - This ability can only be used when Aria is running out of radianite power. Sacrifice her own health to heal an ally and save them from a near death situation. Using too much of this power might damage her body.

Aria's POV

I woke up in the morning, brew a cup of coffee then sat on my bed. The room is dark because it's still early in the morning and I didn't like the bright yellow lighting in this room.

"Cypher.." I mumbled as I took the note he gave me last night.

He said he would be waiting for me today but didn't specify the time I should be there. I didn't even say I was gonna come see him after those.. commotion happened to me last night. To be fair, he chased me until I felt like my legs were gonna snap, suddenly appeared in front of me like a ghost, made me run again and also tripped me with those weird looking ropes.

"was that even a rope? It was kinda invisible.." I wondered.

I got nothing to do, so I thought I should give it a try. If he tried something funny, I could just run or tackle him. I can also mark a location for me to teleport to using my power. Yes, I should do that.

I made up my mind then walked out from my apartement. I wore my robe as usual and covered my head using the hood. After locking the door, I went downstairs then left the building. 

I walked to a nearby train station then ordered a ticket. It was packed, but that didn't stop me from going. I could also scout the area for a new place to stay so it's a win-win situation. I took the train then stood in the train because there were no seat left for me. I stood up all the way to the Southern District that took only 30 minutes using the train.

"ouch.."

It was quite packed and to be fair, I stood all the way here so I got tired a bit.

"I didn't eat anything. Should I buy something?"

I looked into my purse.

"nevermind. Maybe Cypher got some snacks there.." I laughed pitily at myself.

I started walking again to the area mentioned in the note. It was a secluded area and there wasn't a single living soul nearby. I almost decided to turn back, but then I got an idea.

"well, since there's nobody here, I can put a mark somewhere hidden. I don't want to teleport into somebody.."

Cypher's POV

"she would definitely come," I placed a bet against myself just for fun.

Not long after that, I detected something on my censor. A person walking around my territory. I put up my left hand, looked into my palm then the information flowed into me.
