Hermione and Ginny set off for Hogsmeade.

They walked outside and down the long snowy path. When they got to the Hogs Head. Hermione opened the door and stepped inside with Ginny behind her. When Hermione turned the corner to go find a seat she bumped into someone.

It was just a coincidence that it happened to be Malfoy, again. "Hello, Granger, again". "Hey", Hermione said sounding annoyed.

He just had to reply, " today at 3 is my only free time so we should do some planning". Hermione had to agree, only because it was logical. "okay, see you then". Then he walked away.

Ginny was still standing behind Hermione when this interaction happened. She was shocked to see them both act civil around each other. "Hermione, what was that about?", ginny questioned.

"oh nothing, McGonogall asked us to organise this fun day thing. It's her attempt of lightening the mood up around here.".

Ginny was curious. They both went to the bar and ordered a butterbeer each and then went to a free booth and sat down.

While they were drinking Ginny spoke up. "what does this fun day entail" she said playfully. "well, I can tell you one thing there's going to be lots of food, games and maybe even a guest appearance from a band." Hermione said and Ginny was looking very excited.

As they were both sitting in silence, Ginny decided to change the subject. "So, Hermione, what did your last letter from Harry and Ron say maybe it gives a clue on where they went."

Hermione had to answer Ginny she didn't want to give away too much information. Especially because she didn't want to freak her out again. " Well, my letter just said that they're doing well, they've found a lead on a Horcrux and they're moving around constantly. They also said they can't talk much."

"oh okay". Ginny looked sad that there wasn't much in the letter. Little did she know that not just what they said. They told Hermione that the next time they contact her there was going to be a clue or hint that they didn't want the order knowing.

Hermione thought that is probably why they haven't been contacted in a while. But she didn't want the order knowing that.

Once Hermione and Ginny finished their butterbeer, they headed out of the pub. They walked down the path and into Honeydukes, where they saw Neville. He said hi. The girls bought chocolate frogs and some cauldron cakes.

Then Hermione and Ginny went back to the castle. Once they arrived the girls went their separate ways.

Hermione walked back to her dorm. It was 3 pm so it was time to meet up with Malfoy.

As soon as she got there Malfoy was waiting for her on the couch." ah, Granger you're here". Hermione replied, " yep, now let's get to work. the sooner we start the quicker it's done."

They both got to work planning the fun day. there was so much to plan. Things like vendors, where they would go and everything else. They also had to contact the weird sisters to organise when they were free and the stage arrangements.

When they were halfway through planning Draco decides to follow through on his mission. getting to know Granger.

"hey Granger, I've been meaning to ask, where were you going last night". Hermione was caught off guard by his question. She had to think of something quickly so he was suspicious.

"oh, I was going to a meeting with McGonogall about the... Prefect duty schedule. There needed to be a last-minute arrangement with Gryffindor." That was the best excuse Hermione could think of that didn't involve him. "oh, okay..."
