We packed our things and headed to my hotel.

"Have a great day, guys!" Shouted the baristas.

"Thank you, you too," we replied.

After a short walk, we made it to my hotel and were immediately greeted by what seemed to be the manager.

"Hello Ms. y/n, I apologize for the mistake and mix-up yesterday. As a gift, we will give you a free night; I hope you will accept." Said the manager

"Actually, I will decline your offer. The way I was treated was not correct. If it wasn't for my friend here, I would have slept on the streets. I would like to file a claim for a refund," I said with a straight face.

"I understand your decision, we are sorry once again. I will issue and approve a refund for all the nights you paid immediately," she said as she excused herself.

"Well, that went well," Timothee said.

"Hey Ms. y/n, your back! What happened you never came back? I started to worry something happened to you," said the bellboy eyeing Timothee.

"Thanks for worrying, but you shouldn't have. I'm fine. I am just here for my stuff," I said with a smile.

"Well, let me help you with your luggage at least-" he said before Timothee cut him off.

"No need. I will help her," said Timothee

"Very well then, can I get your number at least?" the bellboy asked.

"I don't want to be rude, but I should really get going; nice meeting you," I said as I walked away, pulling Timothee with me.

"They should fire that bellboy; he stalks guests and hits on them. A true menace to society," he said in a jealous tone.

"AW, is someone jealous?" I teased.

"nO......." He said, not looking convinced.

We got to my room, and I gathered my stuff. Thankfully it wasn't messy, so packing was relatively fast.

"Are you done? Let me help you with that," said Timothee getting up from the bed.

"Yeah, thank you. I think I got everything. We can head out," I replied

We arrived at the lobby, and I finished some final paperwork before exiting the hotel. Timothee called for a cab, and off we went to his hotel.

After a few minutes, we arrived at his hotel, where he carried my luggage all the way to his room.

"Ladies first," he said as he opened the room door.

"Thank you," I replied.

He took my luggage upstairs and came hopping down the stairs.

"So, what do you want to do for the rest of the day?" he said excitedly.

"How much time do we have? What time is dinner?" I asked.

"I made reservations at 8 o'clock. So we have several hours," he replied.

"Hhhmmm, what to do?" I said while pondering.

"Well, since this is your first time in New York, why don't I show you all the touristy parts around the city," he suggested.

"That's a great idea; I do want to take lots of pictures," I replied.

"Great, why don't we explore the city riding bikes. Traffic is crazy and would take all day," he suggested.

" I love that idea; let me just put some shorts on since I am wearing a dress," I said while walking upstairs.
