To Be Married or Not to Be:

January 26nd, 2012, 12:30 pm College...Lunch Time
Wind whipped past my dark brown hair. I loved the breeze during lunch time here, it's always feels good. I was starring at the scene when I felt a cold hand on my shoulder, so I looked back to find a gorgeous brown-haired, brown-eyed teenager looking at me. "Hello" he said smoothing his hair with his hand.
"Hello" I said starring at him.
"Umm I'm kind of new here and I was wondering if you knew where Mr. Callahan's room is? It's my next class." he said.
"Uh yeah, I was just on my way actually cause that's my next class. You can follow me." I said.
We walked on the campus to Mr. Callahan's class which would be Performance like acting, singing, dancing, and instrument playing.
"Oh by the way my name is Jake." he said when we were almost there.
"Cool. Mine's Cheyenne, but most people just call me Chey" I said giving him my award-winning smile.
"Well were here!" I said turning to him.
"Well nice meeting you Chey!" he said holding out his hand which I shook.
"Nice meeting you too." I said and pulled the door to class open and we walked inside. "Cheyenne! Cheyenne! Oh my beautiful talented Cheyenne!" Mr. Callahan yelled when I walked in...as you can see he loves me and my singing. "Hello Mr. Callahan!" I smiled and walked over to him. "This is Jake..."
"Davis"
"Jake Davis, nice to meet you! I am Mr. Callahan...so have you heard are star sing yet?" he said.
"No...who is she or he?" Jake asked.
"This young lady right here! Since he hasn't heard you, you are going to sing for us today ok?" Mr. Callahan said to me.
"Ok" I sighed.
Mr. Callahan got up on stage and went to the microphone taping it to make sure it was on. "Ok listen everyone! We are going to do the talent show today, so whatever song your singing to or dancing to come tell me really quick and I'll get the music!" he said into the mic. When he was done everyone ran up to him telling him their music as he hurried to right it down while yelling "ONE AT A TIME!".
"Umm, what am I suppose to do for this?" Jake asked me.
"Well uh what's you talent?" I asked him.
"Well I act and I play the piano...lame I know." he said blushing. "No it's cool!" I smiled, thinking it was cute that he blushed.
"Thanks," he laughed.
"So do you know how to play the 'Rocketeer' on the piano?" I asked.
"Yeah! I love that song!" he smiled.
"Sweet, well you wanna play it while I sing?" I asked secretly hoping he would say yes.
"Sure! Sounds fun!"
"Cool!" I said.
We then went up and sat down in the red seats. "So...how old are you?" he asked.
"18, You?"
"19" he said.
"Cool..." I said glad that he wasn't way older than me.
We started talking until Mr. Callahan said, "Cheyenne you can go first!" I sighed, of course he would make me go first, couldn't he at least try not to favorite me in front of everyone. Plus I really don't want to go first always, but I still said, "Ok." Jake and I got up and went to the stage. He went to the piano and I went to the mic. "I'm gonna be singing Rocketeer! Hope you like it!" I said smiling. I motioned for Jake to start playing and he did. I started to sing:
Here we go, come with me
There's a world out there that we should see
Take my hand, close your eyes
With you right here, I'm a rocketeer
Let's fly
Up, up here we go
Up, up here we go
Let's fly
Up, up here we go, go
Where we stop nobody knows, knows
Where we go we don't need roads, roads
Where we stop nobody knows, knows
To the stars if you really want it
Got, got a jetpack with your name on it
Above the clouds in the atmosphere, phere
Just say the words and we outta here, outta here
Hold my hand if you feeling scared, scared
We flying up, up outta here
I closed my eyes singing the rest and then opened them when the song was done. Everyone clapped really loud and I just smiled, bowed, and pointed to Jake as he bowed. We were a good team cause he's awesome at the piano and I'm good at singing. When we got off the stage lots of people said, "Great job!" and "Amazing!" and "Loved it!" which we replied with a thank you. More people went after us until finally class ended signaling the rest of the talent show would have to wait til next time. I ran out really fast not wanting to be late again to English, but as I ran something caught my wrist stopping me. I looked back to see Jake. "Oh hi" I said.
"Cheyenne when will I see you again?" he said.
"Umm you can meet me at lunch tomorrow by the tree I was at today." I said.
"Ok cool!" he said and smiled finally releasing his grip of my wrist.
"Well I got to go." I said.
"Ok, bye! See ya tomorrow!" he said.
"Bye!" I said again flashing him my award-winning smile before sprinting off to my next class.
