Chapter 42: Beast Breathing

Amaris's POV,

When we were done warming up we went back out there.

Of course.

We had to search again.

Jackie was getting inpatient and reckless.

This time we split up we were close to each other but not too close.

I went to the centre of the Island with Jackie and Angel.

I sat down in the center as Jackie looks at me.

"What are you doing?" Jackie asked.

"Shush..... I need concentration." I said.

Jackie just shrugged and looked around.

"Beast Breathing 7th form spatial awareness." I said as could see Jackie and Angel touch. Then soon enough Walkers and Whisperers then Shelmore than the village.

But this was strange..... I couldn't see Ghost.....

I feel a bird taking off but after that I couldn't feel the bird until I felt them landing on a tree.

I opened my eyes and I got up.

Now I'm lost.....

I don't know where she is.....

Ghost what the fuck!

We continued the search.

I sure hope Judith and Cutter are having better luck.

Judith's POV,

As we searched for the girl. I looked at Cutter. I was paired up with a dragon that I couldn't understand....

Man this is gonna be a pain....

I looked at him.

"I don't know how we are gonna communicate because I can't speak dragon..." I said. Cutter just gave me a look before nodding. "What?" I asked.

He roared at me.

Before pointing to my hands.

"Hand signals?" I asked in confusion. Cutter nods giving a little dragon gurgle.

Angel's POV,

I looked at Amaris and walked up to her.

"Let's keep going." I said as she nods. We were searching as we looked everywhere but we stayed away from Shelmore's camp. If we did go there it would be easier to find us.

I looked around as I looked at Jackie.

"We'll find her." Amaris said. "Don't worry."

Jackie looked at her.

"We are gonna go back to the snowy part of the island. During the beast breathing I got a scent of her Aura there." Amaris said.

Amaris why are you lying?....

Are you afraid of something?
