Princess-maid [Completed]

13: Flan

      On the next days, Vallerine and Sara introduce some beautiful places of Sephora. They had fun going around. They buy a lot of things. What the four maids can say is Sephora has a friendly & hospitable people, they have a lot of flowers and the scent of the breads is spreading on the streets.

One Night

        Pearl brings a box to the guest room

Pearl: Uncle knows that we're in Sephora, and we need this for background check
Parfait: camera? spy glasses? these are very useful ... what's this hearing aid?
Pearl: it's not just an hearing aid, it's a recorder , all these are very useful ... Okay, let's practice this one

        Pearl and Parfait try the gadgets and later on,  they practice fighting.


Some Days Later

        Muffin goes out from the house, she's wondering why the sky suddenly changed, until

Muffin: IT'S SNOWING!!!!

        Muffin jumps in joy. Parfait and Pearl rushes to the outside

Pearl: it is snowing! It's a dream come true, I've touched a snow
Parfait: Guys, let's take a picture

        FLASH!

Parfait: Wow!! This is first time!!!

Inside

Vallerine: It's really different from Victoria
Sara: Sephora is colder than there ... Winter is time I hibernate
Vallerine: you are not an animal! I think there are many things to do here on winter time-

        The 3 maids rush towards inside

Pearl (shivering): brrr... it's too cold
Parfait: I don't want to get sick!!
Muffin: Why we didn't think of buying winter clothes in Victoria?
Vallerine: Oh my!! Don't worry, I'll buy clothes for you

        Upstairs Jacqueline and Suzette are watching them

Jacqueline: Mother, Vallerine is buying winter clothes for the maids
Suzette: let her waster her money! Later on, she will marry Rion, he will take all her money and he will leave her penniless. Let her enjoy today and she'll cry on the next day hahaha
Jacqueline: and so with Sara, I want that freak to become miserable
Suzette: but first, we should get rid of the maids

        They didn't know that Lun, who just woke up, was listening to them

Sara: the four ladies are enough

        Muffin runs towards the guest room

Lun: wait Muff, is Pearl outside?

Lun: Pearl! Pearl!(runs towards outside) I have something to say (sees Jacq and stops) Oh!

Lun: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Pearl: What the- 

Vallerine: today is her birthday?!
Pearl: I'm keeping it as a secret but Lun
Vallerine: so we have a reason to celebrate! Happy Birthday Pearl! 
Parfait,Muffin,Sara: Pearl, Happy Birthday!!
Pearl: thanks guys!!

Suzette: so what food have you prepared Parfait?
Parfait: I made Pancakes and Vegetable Omelettes
Vallerine: Vegetable Omelettes? Yuck!
Parfait and Pearl: Princess?!
Vallerine: sorry about that
Parfait:  ... I felt bad when Madame haven't eaten any vegetables last night, so I made up for her
Muffin: Par, what I made last night was a vegetable
Parfait: I know, but when I found out that this castle has fresh vegetables in the garden, the king permitted me to pick some and besides Lun is complaining that I'm not serving a vegetable dishes anymore, we ate a lot of meat and fish in Victoria ... Don't worry, you will really like this omelette because I made something new this time

Pearl: Par and I thought this is silly 'cuz (gives the omelette to Lun) 
Lun: Wow!! Who drew a ♥ shaped ketchup drawing in my omelette?
Muffin,Vallerine: What?! 
Vallerine: a person came from the maid cafe can do that
Parfait: Here's your omelette Madame, I haven't draw any because I don't know what
Suzette: It's okay, I want it plain
Muffin: Par, please draw a cat for me
Parfait: Okay coming up ... By the way Madame, what time the king wakes up?
Suzette: 9 am 

King Falcon: Good Morning ladies

Vallerine: Father you are awake
King Falcon: I don't usually wake up early, but when I smelt food, it smelt good! it reminds me of our former cook, Apricot! she cooked a very delicious omelette and she looks like Parfait

        Parfait surprises. Suzette shocks and looks at Parfait

Parfait: Oh! [thinking: Apricot??]
Suzette: My husband, please sit down and eat! and you're comparing the cook to Apricot?? it's too far
King Falcon: *laughs can't you see Suzette, Par looks like our former cook Apricot, Oh I really miss her cooking
Suzette: Falcon!! ....  Parfait, you sit down too and eat
Parfait: Yes Madame
Suzette (thinking): [ he's talking about Apricot again ... I can see and I can feel that Apricot has returned through Parfait] ... [this can't be]

        After the breakfast the 4 maids,Vallerine,Sara and Jacqueline goes out.

In the Mall

        It's very warm unlike the outside. The interior has a lot of decorations. The seven ladies go around the mall and find something to wear for the winter, but-

Pearl: they are very expensive, why can't we just buy at the market? I saw some sweaters and they're thick
Lun: Yah, we are spending the money of the princess and it's not good 'cuz it's not ours ... a second handed will do
Sara: I can't let you buy second handed items, there might something bad will happen
Lun: something bad?
Sara: Yes and I'll tell you a story, it's a girl who bought a second handed item from the market, it's a watch. On the next day, while she's wearing that, it suddenly shrunk in size affecting her pulse, her wrist was in pain. One time, she was possessed by a bad spirit, it almost killed her
Lun and Pearl: AAAHH!!!
Muffin: Oh my!!
Sara: they found out it was a cursed watch. That's the story coming from here
Vallerine: Sara!!!
Sara: Thanks to God that she was able to overcome the curse, her life was back to normal
Vallerine: the lesson is, if you want to own something, see to it it's brand new and it's meant for you ... Parfait, why you are very quiet??
Parfait: even Ms Jacqueline is quiet also, I was listening to Sara's story, it gave me creeps 

        They laugh

Vallerine: Jacq, if you want something, you can tell me
Jacqueline: ....
Vallerine: If you still remember our fight, just forget about it! and these ladies are very friendly
Jacqueline: Yah it seems ... anyway, I can bring you to the store where there are affordable items for winter and it can suit their style
Sara: where?

In the store

Sara: Moonlight Fantasy?
Jacqueline: Yah!
Sara (checks the price tag): okay, this is right
Vallerine (checks the price tag): Yes! and this will suit Pearl (gives the jacket to Pearl)
Pearl: Right! 

        The ladies start to buy their winter outfit. Vallerine and Sara answered all the clothes. After that

In the Penguin World

        Penguin World is an indoor park that has penguins. There is a cafe, a skating rink, a little snow village and park. There are many things to do and many games to play. Perfect for those who want to hang-out and to have fun.

        HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEARL!!!

Pearl: Thank You Guys *sniff*
Vallerine: for 6 years you didn't tell us your birthday, why?
Pearl: I don't want to share it
Lun: I think you don't like to tell it to us, then we will not force you
Pearl: please understand me
Sara: what's important is, you're celebrating today

        They start to eat cakes and drink hot chocolates. After that, theygo to the skating rink. The 4 maids doesn't know how to skate so they stumble, but with practicing they know how to skate properly. Then, they go to the snow village/park to roam around and play games.

Late Afternoon

        The ladies go back home from the Penguin World

Vallerine and Sara: Father!!
King Falcon: Thank Goodness you are back ladies! I've prepared some flans
Sara: we'll change our clothes first Father
Vallerine: sure father, let's go to the kitchen

        Sara and Jacqueline go to their rooms and the 4 maids went to the guest room

Pearl: Par, come here!
Parfait (approaches Pearl): Yes?
Pearl (garbs Par and whispers): Uncle called me just now (lets Parfait read the text message), we are going to receive money as a winter bonus
Parfait: Tell him to give half of my winter bonus to my mother, they need money during these times
Pearl: Okay, I'll tell him

Lun: Pearl, I have to tell you something (grabs Pearl from Par)
Pearl: what is it? you don't have to grab me from Par
Lun: This morning I woke up, when I was about to go out I heard the conversation of Jacqueline and Suzette and I have recorded this

Pearl: That's it!! Rionand those two are indeed obnoxious!!!
Parfait: so they are the enemies of the Princess! she's suppose to hide from her ...we should tell the King!
Pearl (holds Par): we need more evidences especially from Rion!
Parfait: we should know where Rion hides

        Sara suddenly opens the door

Sara: you proceed to the kitchen,  Father made a flan for us!

Dining Area

        King Falcon,Vallerine,Sara,Jacqueline and the 4 maids are eating flan

Sara: Father, I never thought that you can cook also
King Falcon: Apricot, the former cook, taught me how to make a flan and other dishes
Vallerine: You mentioned Apricot to us since this morning ... why don't we let her go back here?
King Falcon: Yes but she left and we don't know where is she now ... by the way Vallerine, you have something to wear for tonight's date? 
Vallerine: Yes Father!
Jacqueline: I think you will not bring anyone else with you right?
Vallerine: Of course not, the four maids and Sara are very tired from the walking

Pearl (whispers to Par): the Princess and Rion are going to a date, this is our chance

        After eating, the ladies go to the living room with the King, Vallerine goes to her room to change and so does Pearl and Parfait

Guest Room

Pearl: We'll disguise as guys. Tonight, we are a princess-maid as a spies, we see to it that's we will never be caught and ensure that the princess is safe going back home
Parfait: We can do this Pearl ... in order for us not to be obvious, we'll pass through that window

        Rion comes in to pick Vallerine up. Shortly, Vallerine and him goes out from the house. Then Pearl and Parfait secretly follow them

Restaurant

       It is a fancy restaurant. Rion and Vallerine went to the reserved table for two

Rion (pulls the chair for Val): Please sit here princess
Vallerine (sits): Thank You

        A waiter named Basil comes in

Basil: Good evening here's the menu (gives the menu book to the two)
Vallerine,Rion : Thank you
Vallerine: Basil! 
Basil: Good evening Princess Vallerine, I'm very glad that you've returned and is he your date?
Rion : Obviously
Basil: You don't look meant for each other
Rion  (stands up): WHAT DID YOU SAY?! (grabs the collar of the waiter) 
Vallerine: Rion, he's just joking
Rion : he should learn good manners especially he's a waiter

        Basil walks out and smirks

        Basil, the waiter, goes in to the kitchen

Manager: Basil!
Basil: Yes boss
Manager: I didn't let you work here just to insult Sir Rion, where are your manners?!
Basil: I'm just telling the truth and I heard that the Princess's stepmother is the one who arranged the date, not Rion ... therefore, the money is from Princess Vallerine's family *laughs*
Manager: what's funny?
Basil: Rion doesn't know how to arrange dates
Manager: YOU BASTARD (he lifts his hand but Pearl stops him)

        Pearl ,wearing a suit and looks like a guy, glares at the manager and grabs Basil, then they go to the dining area

Basil: Pearl?
Pearl: Yah, it's me
Basil: Pearl!! You're here in Sephora
Pearl: the princess let me and the co-maids go with her ... see that person, she's called Parfait, she's a new princess-maid
Basil: I see! by the way Pearl, the princess will marry that Rion?
Pearl (walks towards the table): that will never happen, we will stop the wedding as possible

Minutes later

Waiter: Basil, please give this to table 11

        Basil walks towards the co-waiter and gets the food. Then he brings the food to table 11. 

Pearl: table 11 is here Basil
Basil (gives the food): here's the food
Parfait: thanks (begins to eat) ... what the?!
Pearl: Par?
Parfait: Basil, you taste this!

        Basil tastes the food

Parfait: is this your scallop with white wine sauce?
Basil: Yes Miss and Princess Vallerine also ordered this
Parfait: I don't like it! the scallop is not fresh ...  I can cook better than this!!        
Pearl (whispers to Basil): Par is a chef of the Princess
Basil: Oh! and look, the waiter will serve the food for the royal couples? 

        And the so called royal couples start to eat. After Vallerine tasted, she doesn't like the food

Parfait: I told you! She doesn't like it 

        While eating, Rion's phone starts to ring, he answers the phone. After the call, he stands up, walks toward somewhere and Pearl secretly follows him.
       
         He goes to the back of the restaurant, he meets a man with 5 goons, they started a conversation. Pearl starts to record the conversation. She can sense that there's something illegal going on ...
        
        While recording, one goon saw her

Goon: SOMEONE IS SPYING ON US!!!!

        Basil and Parfait, with masks on, kick the goon. Rion and a man dashes to the car. The car drives away. Pearl,Basil,Parfait and the goons start to fight. They are punching,kicking, wrestling and the 3 princess-maids successfully defeated the goons.

Pearl: Good thing you guys showed up ... By the way Par, this is Basil, a waiter/spy from the princess-maids
Parfait: Hi Basil, you have good action skills ... I'm Parfait a chef   (reaches her hand to him)
Basil (shakes Par's hand): You as well, nice to meet you
Pearl: Alright Par, let's go back inside

        Pearl,Parfait and Basil goes back inside. And they are surprised seeing the Princess with

Pearl,Parfait, Basil: Rion?!
Pearl: the poser 
Parfait: he went back to Princess Vallerine as if nothing happened
          
Rion: do you like the food?
Vallerine: Yah I love it

Parfait: Liar! ... Ya, Basil, I want to get scallops and a little amount of white wine, I'll cook in the house
Basil: Okay Ms Parfait
Parfait: just call me Par

        Basil gives scallops to Parfait. Later on, Vallerine and Rion paid the bill, then went out from the restaurant. Parfait and Pearl bade Basil goodbye then follow Vallerine and Rion.
