14: Princess-maid Manual

I'm changing Victor to Rion and Essence to Victoria. And there are some changes :)

Snowy Night, Royal Palace

        Rion and Vallerine reaches the palace (so with Pearl and Parfait). Sara meets them.

Sara: Oh you're here ... Thanks for bringing back my sister safe
Rion: You're welcome ... By the way, I'll go home ... Goodnight ladies
Vallerine: Good Night! Be safe!

       Rion gets in the car, starts the engine and drive. The guards close the door

Sara: how's the date?
Vallerine: it's fine, Rion was a great guy but I don't like the food
Sara: great guy huh? (looks at Parfait and Pearl) Par, Pearl

Parfait and Pearl: Good evening Princess and Ms Sara

Vallerine: Can you cook a food for me? I'm not satisfied with the food I ate on the date
Parfait: Okay Princess! Pearl you help me
Pearl: Princess, Ms Sara, please take a seat and wait for us to finish

        Vallerine and Sara takes a seat in the dining area. Pearl makes Chocolate Bruschetta and gives it to the two

Vallerine: Wow, I just realized that I should eat midnight snacks instead of letting Par cook
Sara: right, I should stop Parfait

Parfait (in the kitchen): too late! You cannot stop me

Sara: too late
Pearl: that's actually the appetizer

        Vallerine and Sara are surprised. Pearl goes back to the kitchen

Parfait: good thing you listened to me (puts sauce on the scallops on the plate) Now I'm done

        Parfait goes out from the kitchen. When she's about to serve--

SLAP!!

Parfait: Aaw! Princess!!! ...  Why?!?!?!
Vallerine: this is what I ate at the restaurant earlier, you should have cooked something else
Parfait: But I already cooked it, why don't you give it a try Princess?
Sara: Sis, it's scallops with white wine sauce, Parfait version
Vallerine (eats): Yum! It's delicious. I love it and I'm not lying!!
Sara: how about you guys?
Pearl: Par, I wanna eat
Parfait: Yah, let's eat! (takes a seat)

        The four ladies continues to eat

Pearl: Par let's go back to that restaurant and kick the chef's a*s

        They laughed. Parfait looks at Vallerine, she is bothered how Val eats ... Vallerine is eating with a knife and a fork and Parfait can see that she's feeling uncomfortable

Parfait: Princess, I think you don't like how you eat the food ... Can you eat the food freely, I mean set aside first your etiquette or that fancy way of eating ... In short, be yourself
Vallerine: ....

        Vallerine starts to eat using fingers, one leg is on the chair, and eats like an guy (eating a large amount of food). Pearl and Sara begin to laugh and Parfait starts to wonder.

Vallerine (with mouth full): It's more delicious, thanks Par
Parfait: is that how you eat Princess? You're eating like Ms Sara
Vallerine: this is how I used the way I eat, I changed how I eat when I reached 13 ... I'm really a messy eater at first then I ate a large amount of food ... I'm a person who loves to eat a lot of rice
Sara: Good thing you are not fat
Vallerine: I will get fat if Parfait will not stop me from eating like this
Pearl: Par, you stop her
Parfait: Alright Princess, you cannot eat like that when Suzette and the King is here. but you can eat like that when you're alone or  with Ms Sara or with us maids ... okay?
Vallerine: Okay! Par, please cook sausage, sunny side side up egg, and rice tomorrow
Parfait: Oh my... this is not Victoria and it's not a hot season
Vallerine: You will cook? or I'll send you back to Victoria?
Parfait: *gasp* No .... I hope I can find some Princess
Sara: don't worry, I'll help you buy them
Parfait: *sigh
Vallerine: Anyway, thanks for the night (hugs Par)

Guest Room

        Pearl,Lun and Muffin are already sleeping. Pearl suddenly wakes up from the light, she sees Parfait reading on the desk.

Pearl: Par... you can read that tomorrow, you turn off the light and sleep
Parfait: I'm not sleepy yet, Reading can help me sleep
Pearl: You're always reading even you're not planning to fall asleep
Parfait: reading is my hobby
Pearl (approaches to Par): A hobby can make you more awake, turn that lamp off (stops and sees the princess-maids manual) ... That's the manual of the princess-maids, how did you
Parfait: Basil gave it to me, he said that I need to learn more about the secret agency ... It states here

         That a person can be a princess-maid if he/she is strong, capable of protecting a person, who has intelligence and common sense, he/she is flexible and someone who knows how to cook/clean/serve like a maid or butler (servant will do). That person is being background check first by the agent, ; And good behavior is an advantage;  then the agency can either approve and disapprove that person ;  and that person is selected and called to be a princess-maid.

Parfait: also

        A princess-maid is working as a cook/maid/butler and works as a spy/protector at the same time. He/she protects the princess and her family who is hiding in a different place from the enemies. He/she has no special training. He/she will work immediately after being called.

        A princess-maid is a secret agency and there are hundreds of agents around the world.

Parfait: Pearl, why Basil is working as a waiter? the 'waiter' is not mention here
Pearl: Basil was a butler of Princess Mei of Lotus, but the Princess requested him to go back to Sephora to take care of his mother, that's why he's here
Parfait: I see ... can Lun and Muffin become like us also?
Pearl: If Lun knows how to fight, she can be like us, but Muffin? she's too young

        The age of a princess-maid must be 20 years of age and above. The retirement of an agent is when he/she is not capable of working anymore. An agent can be transferred to an another assignment if the Princess doesn't need him/her anymore or the agency requested them.

        The title princess-maid can be null and void if you are going to work in an office or profession that is not related to serving a princess

Parfait: but a chef can do??
Pearl: Yah but only a sideline or part time
