seungmin is friends with minho since they were little because of their parents, they used to study together at the same school

they grew seeing each other's face everyday, not missing a day to play and goof around as if their house weren't next to each other

until the day of them discovering their sexuality came, both of them accepted what they really are, not being bothered with what other people would say

"kim seungmin! get down here~" minho shouted, too lazy to go upstairs just to knock on seungmin's door

minho seems like an intimidating guy who doesn't care of anything, but inside he's a loud and outgoing guy, quick-witted, caring and funny in its own natural way, and due to his stunning look, he makes people struck by, despite of how he acts cold to them

"hYuUuUnNg!!~ im not done yet, i have to finish my homework!" seungmin shout back, too busy with his tasks

seungmin, the type of friend with tons of active braincells, very clever person who can't even let go of his books or tasks, a cute one making people around him being whipped yet him, being a straightforward guy makes him look hard to approach although he's as friendly as minho

"hey, sweetie minho, you're here!" mrs. kim said, glad to see her son's bestfriend

"auntie, seungmin's too busy with his things" minho pout to seungmin's mom

"wait here sweetie, hmm?" as she went upstairs to fetch seungmin

"darling? woah! that's quite a lot, anyways minho's waiting for you downstairs, you should meet him, he's pouting now darling" seungmin's mom said

"yes, i will mom, i just really have to finish this, im a graduating senior high, i have to be consistent" seungmin said

"you've been here inside your room for the whole day, its holiday today, get yourself some rest, i know you're excited of being a college but before you start it, freshen up!" she added while rubbing her son's back

seungmin can't disagree, he knows her mom has a point, he really do need some space or some time of loosening up before he enter the most crucial and sort of exciting stage as a student

"okay mom, ill go downstairs, let me clean my room first then ill follow" he gave up then started to pick up the clutter of papers on his desk, arranging his books and organizing his things carefully before storming out of his room

"i thought you were dead there, but you're still breathing, i see" the older teased earning a playful eye roll from the younger

"i made some snacks, go and have some, my kids" mrs. kim said, earning a 'thank you' from the two

"doyoung-ah, i heard what happened to yedam, how is he now?" seungmin asked his brother who just came home from school

"he's getting better now hyung, good thing his brother found him or else, it'll be the worse of the worse!" doyoung said with his eyes wide, biting on his sandwich

"where's dad though?" he asked

"im home~ where are my kids? hey minho~" mr. kim greeted the boy who bow to him

"so how was the life of a second year college? living in apartment?" mr. kim asked

"to be honest uncle, it was getting hard" minho answered as he let go of his dramatic exhale

"you'll go through it son, just keep on thriving" mr. kim told minho

"life's not about easiness, its about how you deal with hardships" seungmin simply added

'he really is like his dad, very clever' minho thought for a second

"aight, am going upstairs now before i stink here, see you next time minho hyung"

"me too, son, well minho its nice to see you again after a long time" doyoung then left the area followed by their dad

minho and seungmin finished their sandwiches and mango milkshake before putting on their jacket and shoes on

they stepped out of the house with a strong cold wind hit their face, making them shivers

"its mid winter now, i guess" minho said

"so where are we going hyung?"

"taking a walk, its holiday and i want to spend it with you, cuz i missed bugging you seung meong meong" the older once again teased seungmin who snorted at him

"hey! im just kidding, anyway, your graduation's next week! aren't you excited?!" minho excitedly said to the latter

"of course i am, that's why i have to finish my homework before tomorrow, its our major subject" seungmin told the older who grabbed his wrist then dragged him while running

they finally arrived at the park where they used to play before when they're still kids, hanging around the monkey bar, swinging and so on

memories of them lingers in their mind, reminiscing how fun their childhood is

"time fly so fast, can't you believe it?" minho asked seungmin who simply nod with a smile on his face

"hyung, im planning to go to the same college with you, mom and dad agreed already and have settled all of my documents there"

minho of course was happy to hear his bestfriend going on the same college with him, he can see him and goof around with him again everyday just like when they were little

"in what course though?" the older asked

"dentistry, its pressuring though but im excited to meet new friends" seungmin said with his teeth showing

minho felt somehow jealous for some random and unknown reason but most of him feels excited to be with his bestfriend at the same school once again

time passed by as its already 8:00pm, minho and seungmin on their way back to their home bumped into someone, he seems younger than them

"here let me help you" minho initiated as he saw a permed haired boy with a dimple showing

"thank you..... hyung? i guess you're older than me" as he giggles from his clumsiness

"im lee minho, incoming third year college, and you are?"

"yang jeongin, incoming first year college, taking MedTech cuz i don't know why i want to" he then laugh at his own saying

"you're funny, welp! be careful on your way kid!" minho told the youngest then started to wonder around, looking for seungmin

"hyung, where'd you go? i thought you left me aish" seungmin said to the older

"i suppose to ask you that, where'd you go?? huh kim. seung. min. ?" he asked

"i went back to that cafeteria to look for you wondering maybe you get back there looking for something but turns out I WAS THE ONLY ONE who get back there" seungmin whined

"fine fine fine, my fault okay lets go home now, too windy here" minho accept defeat

after a few minutes of walking, they separate ways to get into their own place that was next to each other

"hyung! get back to your apartment safely tomorrow! goodluck!" seungmin said then went inside their house and so minho who wished seungmin 'fighting!' with his tiny fist

a/n: i have no exact thoughts for this story, but!! i trust my imaginative mind, here's my first update for this story and yes, I'll change its title even its cover and description, too.... idk when but yeah🥳
