they arrived at the cafeteria then saw the blonde freckled boy sitting alone in a long table, sipping on his strawberry milkshake

seungmin ran towards felix to startle the australian chick

"oh fu- aish! seungmin" he almost curse

changbin then saw the three as a bunch, he remembered the day he saw their new neighbors

"hyung, told you i found my future husband" he pointed out felix

hyunjin and minho rolled their eyes then walk towards the spot of seungmin and his friends, changbin followed

minho put his arms around seungmin's shoulder, making them look like a couple

"hey felix, nice to see you again" minho greeted felix that greeted back

"my treat today, because? i want to" he said

after a moment of waiting, they returned with their meals

"i know this technique of you lixie hyungie, you want to ask us for a favor" jeongin said

"well,,,, not a favor actually but your help"

"woah, is this the first time you asked us for our help? wow our broken korean has improved, im proud of you" seungmin teased

"kidding aside, what kind of help is it though?"

"i was chosen in our class...... for the upcoming baking competition from the next three months and i need all of you- ooh! hi, what's your name?" he immediately asked the buffy guy

changbin can't hide his smile after being noticed by felix

"seo changbin, from the department of music production"

"i like you already hyung! anyways, i need all of you to criticize my pastries for every practice that ill do"

that's too early for flirting, and in front of their friends.... they'll get used to it

after lunch they all went back to their respective class- separately, whereas seungmin met jisung along the way

"oh, let me help you out" seungmin reached out his hand to jisung to help him stand up

"thanks, im sorry for bumping onto you" jisung said while fixing his clothes

"its fine, what concerns me is you... have you stayed up all night?" seungmin asked, jisung nodded in honesty

"by the way, im han jisung and you are?"

"kim seungmin" he pulled his hand to make a shake hands with the boy in front of him

after an hour, they both proceeded to their next class which they both have and so the rest of their schedule

"wow, today's very exhausting, how can you manage that?" jisung asked while walking with seungmin heading to the park

"i don't even know how" seungmin answered with snort while shaking his head

they became friends since jisung is an introvert but is a friendly and jolly person

the next few weeks, jisung and seungmin often hangout with each other which the squirrel boy made friendship with seungmin and to his friends, felix and jeongin

"so, what do you think of it?" the freckled boy asking jisung about his baked pastry

"you're almost there lixie, the sugar level must've be not enough, but it taste good" jisung complimented

"who's the gayest again? me~" felix said, getting a bite from his baked pastry

"anyways, why did you break up with your boyfriend?" seungmin asked

jisung hesitating if he should tell them about his ex or keep it to himself, as far as he remember, seungmin met him with a sleepless look due to his situation before

"we're both an architecture student, he's our senior though but he has this habit of clubbing which bothers me a lot"

".... he often goes home drunk and wasted for no reason like, do i deserve it? handling him is way too difficult plus my homophobic parents" jisung said

their conversation got interrupted when they heard knocking from the door

"yes? minho hyung, what brings you here?" jeongin asked the soon he flung open the door

"i smelled felix's pastry, how dare you......" minho trailed, got struck by jisung, he motioned seungmin to go near him

"what's his name?"

"he's han jisung from the department of architecture" the older had his eyes glued to the boy

seungmin had thought of minho having a crush on jisung, he can see it through the older's eyes

felix introduced minho and jisung to each other then proceeded to their current topic while munching felix's pastry

"so where are we again?" jisung asked

"about your ex boyfriend"

"yeah, that's the reason why i broke up with him, its valid though, right?" he asked

"i don't know what's the reason why you broke up with your ex, but as i see you had a lot of struggles with him, and i can say that's valid" the older smile to the boy

"thanks" jisung silently said

minho felt butterflies in his stomach after hearing the younger's word, he even sound sweet to minho's hearing

seungmin then received a notification from hyunjin, he checked the older's message then rushes to storm out of their apartment

"where is he going?" jeongin asked, tilting his head

"plus the fact he left us without saying a word" jisung sighed while munching still

"he's not usually like that..... weird" minho added

meanwhile on the other side, hyunjin who texted seungmin was lying down on the ground with his back, tears escaping from his eyes

he once checked his phone again then saw seungmin replied

minnie

i need your help
im wasted now seung
im at the park right now
please, come
i just need a friend to talk to

im on my way there
just a few minutes, wait for me
stay put

then more tears escaped from his eyes, he can't hold his emotions anymore, he misses jisung despite of how many weeks have passed by

it was like almost two months now after they broke up, he knows what he did was wrong, he gave jisung struggle instead of him giving the boy a comfort he needs

"ya! stand up hyunjin!" seungmin shouted from afar, quickly running towards the boy

"what's wrong with you? what are you doing, huh?"

"i miss him seung, i miss him"

seungmin was confused, he doesn't have an idea of who is hyunjin was talking about, he then ask

"jisung, han jisung from my department" seungmin felt his eyes widened and his heart pounds crazy

'what? so jisung has been talking about hyunjin all this time?' he thought while helping the wasted guy to stand up
