chapter 8: busted, dante's crazy adventure part 3

dante was shocked he zinged with mavis and she had just said she loves him "mavis..." before dante could finish he was cut off " i know you don't belong in this world and sooner or later you will have to leave again but i wanted to atleast tell you how i felt" dante looked into mavis's eyes  and he could tell she meant it  "you don't have to say it back" dante noticed a tear in mavis's eye "how long has it been since you lost johnny?" dante asked as he pulled mavis into a hug "3 years" so time still flows differently in other world "i love you too mavis" mavis looked into dante's eyes "w..what did you say?" dante smiled "mavis i love you, i have since we first" as mavis and dante shared a kiss the same portal from before opened and started pulling dante in "NO! NOT THIS TIME"  dante tapped into his devil trigger once again and dug his claws into the ground "i'm..not...leaving" the portal started getting stronger as it pulled mavis in " MAVIS!!" dante jumped into the portal after her "i got you mavis" dante shouted as he threw he back to dracula as the portal closed behind her "DANTE!!!" mavis screamed  as dante fell through what felt like multiple universes "when i get back to my world im gonna fucking kill brainiac and that damn hyper evolved heartless" dante fell from the sky again as the portal closed and dante landed in  water this time "well atleast it's a softer landing thand before" dante swam to shore and noticed he was in paris which made him laugh "haha how many times did i  plan to marry a girl here" dante sighed as he looked at the ground as he noticed something shocking " m...my body... WHATTHE HELL!!!???" dante ran back to the water and looked at his reflection "WHAT THE FUCK!?"

dante stumbled back away from the water "im a wolf?! dude what the fuck is going on, what am i in some kind of werewolf in london rip off movie?" a voice from behind dante made him freeze "i knew i'd find you here wolf tail" dante turned around "oh shit"

dante knew where he was now and this was NOT gonna end well " haha hey carmelita long time" she glared " don't you LONG TIME me! we slept together and i wake up to you gone? and six years SIX YEARS LATER i find you?! where the fuck have you been?!" she pointed her shock pistol at dante " no more lies  wolf tail I WANT THE TRUTH!!!" dante sighed and held his hands up in defeat "fine, no more lies, im not from this world hell even this universe, where i'm from i'm a human who built a machine to fuse fiction with reality , but i did it out of selfishness and heartbreak ignoring the signs it was wrong" dante had slowly started turning human as he told the truth "i went through so many worlds, dated so many women, i had a harem, then i came here" carmelita pointed her gun at dante " so, what i was just another woman in your harem is that it?!" dante put his hands down "what?! NO, i gave up that harem after i met you" carmelita shot past dante "I SAID NO MORE LIES!! after what cooper put me throught i finally feel like i can trust again and i wake up after sleeping with you and what do i find? YOU ARE NO WHERE TO BE FOUND!" dante had returned to his human body as he walked into the light "fine just throw me in jail then" carmelita was speechless he was telling the truth "y..you're human....you were telling the truth, so everything you told me" dante nodded his head "all true" dante closed his eyes waiting to be shot or handcuffed only to be hugged "i forgive you wolf tail" carmelita whispered dante was confused "so.. you're not gonna shoot me?" carmelita shook her head "at first i wanted to cause i thought you were lying, but you were telling me the truth, all be it hard to believe" dante smiled " i have a name you know" carmelita laughed " i know but i like wolf tail" dante shook his head as muggshot appeared

" its pay back time you cop" carmelita pointed her gun at muggshot "wolf tail get out of " before she could finish muggshot was punched to the ground " i'll handle this roid raged pup"

carmelita looked up "w..wolf tail? is that you?" dante smiled "i'll explain later just get to safety" dante said as he punched muggshot back to the ground "muggy muggy muggy you have been a bad puppy" dante and muggshot traded fists both men tanking each others punches  as dante laughed "hahah awww what's wrong puppy can't handle REAL STRENGTH?!" dante punched muggshot back to the ground "might controls everything and without strength you can't protect anything" dante changed back to his human form as interpol arrived and arrested muggshot

many weeks later dante was in an  underground night club somewhere in paris as he thought to himself "what am i missing as soon as i tell mavis i love her a get pulled in a portal and sent here" dante shook his head as a man in a black coat came up to him " you dante?" the man asked as dante opened his eyes "and you are?"

" my name is BLADE and i don't ever ask for help but the countess is loose" dante looked at blade "what do you mean shes loose? i killed her 3 years ago" blade sat down "shes been resurrected and shes forming an army that i can't beat alone" dante stood up "alright blade i'll help you, i have unfinished issues with her anyway"
