OPHELIA WALKED INTO THE COFFEE SHOP THAT WAS CLOSE TO HER HOME. She liked coming to this specific one because how quiet it always is. No one to bother her
She walked up the register that was accompanied by a sweet girl named Julie that has been working at the coffee shop for a while, Ophelia puts on a smile as she gets closer. The girl smiles at her brightly when she noticed Ophelia walking up to the register
"Hey Ophe! Would you like your regular?" The girl beamed
Ophelia didn't really like people who were overly happy but she tolerated the girl. She never gave Ophelia a reason to not like her
"Yes i would, thank you" Ophelia watched julie nod her head and tap on the screen in front of her. Before the girl could tell her the price, Ophelia takes out her wallet and pulls out twenty dollars. She slides it to the girl who takes it
"We'll call your name when it's ready"
Ophelia nodded then went to the tables in the back. She sits down and pulls out her phone. She immediately slips into her own little world, blocking everyone out
Until a new person walks in
Ophelia looks up at the sound of the bell on top of the door ringing. She looks at the new person confused. He had black fluffy hair that look so soft, clear tan skin, and round bread like cheeks
She watched him as he walked up the register
Ophelia was intrigued by him and she couldn't understand why. Yeah she could see how attractive he is but someone reason she felt drawn to him. Ophelia hated it. No man has made her feel like this and she wanted it to stop
She was so caught up in her thoughts that she didn't realize her name was being called
"Ophe?" The woman jumped and looked up at the barista. She was smiling at Ophelia worryingly while holding her coffee
"I called you to get your drink but you seemed to be spaced out, so I brung it to you"
Ophelia blinked at the girl but then she genuinely smiled at her. She takes it and let's out a small 'thank you' Ophelia couldn't lie and say she wasn't embarrassed
She has never been that engrossed with someone in years
And she didn't like that not one bit
Ophelia drank her coffee while taking small glances towards the new stranger. He had already got his coffee and was drinking it as he typed away on a laptop.
She wanted to figure him out so bad and figure out why he intrigued her so much
He looked so...soft and innocent
Why did she want to protect him with all her life she frowned as the thought popped into her head. What is so special about him, she couldn't understand. Ophelia watched the man wrap his big hand around the coffee cup and take a sip
The man eventually looked up from his laptop. His eyes landing on her. She expected him to be freaked out to see that she's been staring at him but no, he gave her a soft smile.
Ophelia gets up from her seat leaving her drink in the process and starts walking to his table.
He watched and moves his hand to close his laptop. She sees him look her over and bite his lip shamelessly. Ophelia didn't react as she makes it to his table
The man looks up at her
"How can i help you?" He said. Ophelia eyebrows went up at his deep voice. She liked it
"I haven't seen you come in here before" she explained in a monotone voice. He hums in agreement and nods his head. He motioned for her to sit which she did
Ophelia looked right at him. She couldn't lie he was way more attractive up close.
"This is my first time coming here" he smiled. Ophelia nodded and continued to stare at him for a while. She was studying him and she could tell he noticed by how he tilted his head at her
He let out a 'hm' and leans on the table
"My names taehyung, what's yours beautiful lady?" His smile never leaves his face
Ophelia usually hated when men called her pet names, but for some reason she didn't feel any resentment towards the man in front of her
"Ophelia"
A small 'wow' slips past his lips
"That's a beautiful name, Ophelia" she liked how her name rolled of his tongue. The corner of her mouth threatens to quirk up into a grin, but she quickly catches herself. Ophelia still couldn't understand why she was drawn to him
It frustrated her
"Well taehyung it was nice talking to you, maybe we'll see each other again"
She really hoped they didn't. She hated that she couldn't understand him and why he's so alluring. To Ophelia that's dangerous. She didn't wait for him to respond as she shot up from her seat and went back to her table
She grabbed her drink then headed out of the shop
Taehyung watched in confusion and wonder. He hoped they saw each other again. He liked how mysterious she was and it made him want to get to know her more
He'll definitely make sure they saw each other again

Ophelia walked into her small home irritated. She couldn't get that taehyung guy out of her mind. Ophelia gripped her braids as she paced around in her living room
Could it be possible that she liked him she thought to herself
'Don't be stupid'
She groaned at the voice in her head. She wasn't stupid. She is not stupid. But what is it about him
'Why are you so worried about him? It's not like you'll see him again'
Ophelia nodded to herself. Yeah she shouldn't be stressing herself out over one man, especially one she would probably never see again. She quickly calmed down and walked into her room
She strips herself down to her bra and panties then lays under the covers. Ophelia stared up at the ceiling fan, watching it spin in circles. She a eventually closed her eyes but her mind wouldn't shut up
Ophelia huffs and forces herself to go to sleep
