JUNGKOOK WALKED INTO THE STATION HIS EYEBROWS KNITTED TOGETHER WITH FRUSTRATION another body was found and they still didn't have a lead. Families were getting furious and demanding that the police did something before whoever this killer was struck again.
Jungkook couldn't count on his fingers the amount of wives and mothers slapped him and called the station useless, Every officer was exhausted. Jungkook noticed some were slacking but he couldn't fault them. Whoever the killer is knows exactly what their doing, and it was scary to Jungkook
He was so used to stopping petty thieves and small crimes
But this is—this is a whole new level for him but he was going to solve it no matter what.
The town wasn't small but they've never seen such gruesome crimes like this. So of course everyone was on edge, police cars out on the streets more. Hoping whoever was doing this would get scared and turn themselves in but nothing has happened yet
He continued walking through the station when his phone went off. Sighing he pulls out his phone and goes somewhere private
Taehyung's name flashed across the screen
Jungkook frowned in confusion. Taehyung hasn't talked to him ever since he went back home which was a little strange since they've been trying to catch up on lost times
He answers the phone "hey Tae"
"Hey kookie, um where are you right now?" His voice was laced with nervousness
Jungkook instantly caught on to that "at the station, is everything okay?" He asked worryingly
There's a long pause before taehyung answers. Jungkook starts to get even more worried, did something happen since he went back home? He knew should've stayed longer. Taehyung had a tendency of getting himself in trouble
Taehyung clears his throat
"Ah, everything is fine don't worry. I was just asking" he answers. That hint of nervousness is gone
"You sure?" Jungkook says
A small 'yep' is all he got from taehyung. Jungkook nods to himself and looks around the station "ok well I gotta get to work, call me if you need anything buddy"
He and taehyung bid goodbye then jungkook hangs up. He shakes his head and starts to think

Taehyung sighed and put his phone down on the coffee table in front of him. He's been Contemplating if he should tell jungkook ever since he saw the blood on Ophelia. He started to distance himself from both of them
