TAEHYUNG SAT IN HIS LIVING ROOM. His attention set on the tv playing in front of him. After Ophelia completely ignored him, he's been a little bummed out lately. Taehyung knew it was stupid to be. He wasn't entitled to her at all.
He hated that he felt like that. All taehyung life he's been raised to respect women, he knew his mother would disappointed if she saw how he was acting right now.
So he opted on just leaving the whole thing be.
If she wanted to ignore him then that's fine with him. Taehyung didn't want to weird her out.
They only met twice. He needed to calm down.
He picks up the remote and switches to the news. Taehyung sighed. Bored out of his mind he blankly stares at the tv, his attention is pulled from the tv screen when he hears a knock at the door.
Taehyung gets up and opens the door. A smile lights up his face when sees it's his long time best friend Jungkook.
Jungkook smiled back and pulled taehyung into a bear hug. Taehyung happily accepted the hug, he hadn't been able to talk to his best friend ever since he became a police officer. Taehyung pulled away and moved to the side so Jungkook could come in.
"Hey man, what brought you here?" Taehyung said
He closed the door and followed Jungkook to the couch. Both men sat down, the tv being completely forgotten as they flow into a easy going conversation.
"I just missed you tae, sorry I kinda vanished on you" Jungkook winced and apologized profusely
Taehyung shook his head dismissively and chuckled at the man next to him.
"It's okay, i mean you are a police officer now and you guys are always busy stopping crime"
Jungkook laughed at taehyung putting his hands together like he was being arrested. Soon enough taehyung joined him, both of their laughter filling the room.
Taehyung missed this. A lot
Jungkook laughter eventually died down as he turned his body more towards taehyung. He put his hand on taehyung shoulder, squeezing it.
"Enough about me, tell me what you been up to"
Taehyung sighed which wasn't a good sign to Jungkook. He frowned at tae with concern written on his face. Taehyung noticed and immediately smiled to ease him, he knew how Jungkook could get sometimes
"Don't worry kookie, I've just been bored that's all but I started leaving the house more" he beamed. That made Jungkook smile
He knew how much taehyung didn't really like going outside for some odd reason. But it made him happy that his best friend was starting to break out of his comfort zone. Jungkook patted taehyung's back and nodded his head
