Douma x Akaza ~An unexpected connection~

- Chapter 3 - Mission

(Douma POV:)

I was in some kind of forest, not really sure where, but I was still able to make out Akaza's scent. I followed it for a while, as fast as possible,  since I didn't want to waste anytime I could spent with Akaza~

Not much later I could make out his figure, I was so happy! Luckily he hasn't gone far! He probably searched the area before moving on or something...

However I choose not to talk to him directly. I didn't know why, but I felt more comfortable admiring him from afar. Not that I was too shy or anything like that! I have no problems talking to any kind of Person..-I want something from.

I really enjoyed watching his every move, the longer I looked the larger grew the need to see more. His beauty seemed to increase with every move he made.

A few minutes passed and I felt like I was making Akaza uncomfortable, maybe he felt my eyes on him? Understandable, I wouldn't like being examined by an for me unknown Person either. I guess I should show myself now...sadly I won't be able to admire him like that again for a while..such a shame!

(Akaza POV:)

I was walking around in the forest searching for clues ,since running gets pretty tiring after a while. I don't know why but I felt like somebody or something was watching me..

After a few minutes I felt something touch my shoulder, out of instinct, i immediately turned around and threw a punch at the one who dared to scare me like that! Douma's Body was still standing there..now headless. As he grew his head back, I "screamed" my questions in his face. "What the hell are you doing here?! Did you seriously follow me here??"

"Now, now Akaza~dono..no need to yell like that~"

Accepting his request, since there was no need to embarrass myself even more, I continued to ask him my questions, in a much more lowered tone. "Are you even allowed to be here?"

Douma answered so fast, that I don't think I'm able to consider that he could be lying, "Indeed I am~ Master Muzan himself gave me permission to accompany you here!" He seemed rather proud.

"But why?! I don't need your help with this Mission!!"

Douma answered happily, his usual wide smile plastered on his face and a small blush covering his cheeks, looking me directly in the eyes. "I just wanted to be with you!" After hearing that, I quickly turned around. My heart was pounding, as if ther was no tomorrow, I felt my cheeks warming up and this weird warm feeling spread in my whole body.

"I-idiot .." was the only thing I managed to stammer out.

(Douma POV:)

..Akaza suddenly turned away from me and stammered "I-idiot". I would love to see his expression right now, but I'm guessing he's blushing quite a lot or else he wouldn't have turned. I didn't want to pressure him in any way, so I forced myself to not wrap my arms around him.

"Soo..where are we going exactly?" I asked him with my curious voice.

"..ugh, if you don't even know where we're headed, how did you think would you be able to assist me??" he answered harshly as ever.

"Meanie! Just because I don't know the directions doesn't mean I'm completely useless!" I pouted, Akaza seemed rather unamused.

We didn't have much of an conversation other than me constantly asking when we'll stop for a break or hunt some food. He was clearly very annoyed, but I couldn't help myself! I just love to hear his voice and teasing him has always been very entertaining~
