THIRD PERSON POV:
It had been a couple days after the pregnancy test and Jake and Y/N were starting to get bored waiting for the weeks to pass.
"We should just schedule an appointment now." Y/N said to Jake.
"No, I think we should just wait a bit longer," Jake said, getting up from his chair. "Well, I'm headed out."
"Ok! See you after work." Y/N called out as Jake left the house.
"You know what? I'm gonna finally do something nice for my jakey boi." Y/N thought, after Jake had left. "I'm gonna surprise him at work with some chocolate."
Y/N got ready to leave the house with a quick shower and a change of clothes. Y/N was excited to see the happy face of Jake when she surprised him at his office.
Since Valentine's Day was nearing, every single store in the town was selling the heart - shaped boxes full of lovely, little different flavored chocolates.
Y/N picked one out and paid for it at the counter. Y/N then left and headed out to the car.
After driving for what felt like forever down the main road of their small town, Y/N finally pulled into the parking lot of the State Farm office building. Y/N knew that they weren't doing anything major today so Y/N was free to come in.
Y/N pulled into a parking spot that was conveniently close to the door. She grabbed the chocolates out of her car and made her way towards the building.
She walked into the office building and was greeted by some of Jake's co-workers. Y/N walked up to the front desk to request to see Jake.
"Hi Mr. Tipsord!" said Y/N to the CEO of State Farm.
"Well, hey there Y/N! I haven't seen you in a bit!" said Tipsord.
"Yeah, I don't come here to often." said Y/N, smiling.
"How could I help you today?" said Tipsord, smiling back. "Are you here to see Jake?"
Y/N blushed a bit but quickly covered it and told him she was. Tipsord directed her to the back of the building, past the cubicles, the bathrooms, and the plants shaped like humans.
There was a long hallway with red carpet in the very back of the building. Tipsord led Y/N to a door that had Jake's full name printed on a gold star.
'Jake From State Farm'
Y/N loved Jake's full name, even though she only heard it on commercials sometimes.
Of course, Y/N never really called him by his full name.
He had some issues with a lady calling him that once.
Y/N thanked Tipsord and he walked away, all the way back to the main lobby.
Y/N stood in front of Jake's door with the chocolate in her hand.
SHE GENTLY OPENED THE DOOR
Y/N dropped the chocolates out of her hands immediately.
Jake was with someone else.
Another man.
"N-N-No, i-i-i-i-it c-c-c-c-ant b-be.." Y/N stuttered slightly.
The sight she saw was horrid, terrible, awful.
She thought Jake loved her and only her.
But here he was with.......
"KEANU REEVES?!?!?!?" Y/N screamed. "JAKEY??!?!!? ARE YOU SUCKING EACH OTHER OFF?!?!"
Jake and Keanu stopped immediately.
"Y/N I-I-IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE, I SWEAR!" Jake yelled.
Y/N was so angry but she was also sad. She didn't know what to do. She was in complete shock.
Suddenly, she ran straight out of the building.
Past the human shaped plants, past the bathrooms, past the cubicles.
She ran to her car and left.
She got back to her house and set on her bed.
She didn't know what to do.
What will happen when Jake comes home? Will he rid of me? Is he coming home?
These thoughts raced through her head like cars on the freeway.
She cried herself into a nap...............
