While Athena was at my parent's house, I had to go to Chuck E. Cheese to put the payment down for her birthday and pick out the plans. I invited some of the neighbor's kids and Angela's kids, we had been checking on each other.
She left Jayden, which was for the best. She was a sweet girl and deserved so much better. My parents wanted to keep Athena for the day so I could rest, but Astraea wanted to see her and I wanted to see her and Vladimir's new house. So I told them I would bring her back after we left their house.
I picked up Athena then headed to their house. I pulled up to a gated community. Of course. Vladimir had his own company that was also a liquor company. Astraea was a veterinary, she told me she was thinking about going back to school to get her business degree. I guess being around business owners rubbed off on you. Not me. That shit seems too stressful. I pulled into their driveway and noticed Vladlan's car was here too.
I grabbed Athena out of the car and walked into the house. Well damn.

"Selene and baby Selene is here!" I yelled walking further in. Astraea came running down the stairs and hugged us.
"Come. Come" she picked up Athena and pulled me up the stairs. "I'm so excited to show yall the house."
