The classroom felt different, everyone stared at where their teacher usually stood, they all looked sullen, upset. Hanna was sat on a desk staring at nothing, her mind loud with thoughts yet her voice remained silent.
"Are we going to let it be?" Sawada said his voice and tone was low, the girl turned her head to look at him.
"But what can we do?" Uchiyama responded with the same tone. Sawada stood up from the desk he sat on and went towards the desk upfront,
"Isn't there anything we can do for her?" he asked turning around to face his friends. They all looked down not having an idea on what they could possibly do. Sawada's sight fell on the girl, she was looking at him as well, just as clueless on to what they could do.
Hanna was infront of the woman's house, it was early in the night, just after her judo classes. She thought of talking to Kumi chan, but instead walked the other way and left.
On her way home from the crowded street, she saw a familiar person ahead of her standing just outside of where she first met this person.
The person walked closer to her stopping just a few feet away from her, Sawada extended his hand that was holding a bag of something in it. The girl then brought her hand up to take the bag, inside were hair dyes. She looked back up to the boy,
"I remember you mentioning, you wanted your hair in a different color. Would this cheer you up?" The boy asked the girl to which she nodded in response.
That night, Sawada helped the girl with coloring a few strands of her hair the color she wanted. Her grandmother constantly bringing them snacks in the girl's room and checking up on them.
After an hour, Hanna's hair was different from before. She loved her hair colored with streaks of blue almost like Sawada's but much more cooler to her opinion.
She smiled a gentle smile while Sawada dried her short hair, the boy also couldn't help but smile with her forgetting about everything else for just a few minutes.
The next day Hanna woke up late, immediately panicking as soon as she opened her eyes to look at the time. She then looks to the side of her bed where Sawada slept, only to find a neatly folded futon mattress and a blanket.
The school held a conference addressing the scandal about the Yakuza teacher. As they were about to end the speech, the whole class 3-D came in to talk to the director of the school.
Hanna was frantically rushing to get ready to go to the school. She was alone at the house, her grandmother already at her shop. She had the television on for no apparent reason, while she struggles to button up her shirt, she heard a familiar voice speak from the television that made her turn around to look at it, her eyes widened when she saw her whole class trying to get the director of their school to listen to them.
She saw them with clenched fists, trying to control themselves from pushing the people who were pushing them to leave. She quickly put her shoes on and grabbed her blazer, forgetting about her scarf that was a part of her uniform, as well as a couple of buttons at the top of her shirt.
She ran to the bus stop luckily getting on a bus that was about to leave. The girl rushed the driver to drive faster. As she arrived at her stop she leaned down to pull up her high socks before rushing out the door as soon as the bus came to a stop, dropping her fee at the driver's hands.
She sprinted through the crowd, running as fast as her body can run. When she reached the gym she pushed opened the doors grabbing the attention of the people inside, her classmates looked surprised seeing her with different colored hair and her uniform almost like how the others is, she fits right in.
