I jump at the sound of a new voice and growl not registering the burning on my left wrist/ inner paw. All that registers is the fact that someone I don't know just appeared in the room.

I quickly jump off the sofa and run away, suddenly terrified. I hear footsteps following me and my mind goes blank and all I can think about is running and not hitting things. I completely forget that they are my mates.

I keep running and the footsteps fade behind me.

Tony's POV:
I jump when strange appears in a spiral of orange. I hear a growl and turn to see Charlina has jumped up. In a split second I watch as she gets off the kids lap completely and dashes down the hall obviously scared.

I turn to strange with anger filled eyes as the kid and capsicle chance after her not wanting her to hurt herself again. "You God damn scared her. You couldn't have used the door now could you." For the first time since meeting him I see shock cross his face. I don't stay longer and walk off the find my gorgeous mate.

"Jarvis, have the kid and capsicle managed to catch her?"

"No Mr Stark, she outran them and is currently hiding in the library. She seems quite scared."

I nod to myself heading for the libary. "Thanks Jarvis." I say already half way to the library.

Once I reach the library I open the door quietly and gently knock so as not to startle her. "Hey darling, it's me Tony. You don't need to be scared I won't hurt you none of us will. We're your mates." I say gently approaching her curled up figure in the corner of the room.

At the sound of my voice her ears perked up and her head moved. I stopped around a meter away from her and sat down before holding out my hand gently.

I quickly realised she doesn't plan on moving so I shuffle a bit closer to her. I gently stroke her from the top of her head to her lower back. She stiffens and growls lowly before she relaxes back in my hand.

"I'm sorry the wizard startled you, he used a magic portal of orange portal to appear like an idiot instead of using the door like a normal person." I see her head move as she listens to me. "Do you want to go back and meet him, the others are probably worried about you?" I tell her softly. She pauses for a minute then gets up.

I chuckle at her as she jumps around like a puppy, it's trully the most adorable thing I have ever seen. I get up and we head in the direction of the livingroom.

Stephen Strange's pov:
I turned to look up as I heard footsteps. My eyes met with the kid and Rodgers and saw how they wore frowns. The kid had a slight glare to his eyes as he walked off to the kitchen while Rodgers went and watched tv.

I began to pace and for the first time in my life I felt fear. I had scared her. I had known that the others had found our mate but I hadn't known she was blind or so easily scared. I made a mental note to apologise to her later.

I continue my pacing for what felt like hours. My cloak had been trying to get me to stop but soon gave up. I keep my eyes to the floor that is until i hear a laugh and feel a burning coming from my soulmark.

I watched as my beautiful soulmate in her mini wolf form came running in jumping around happily, followed shortly after by Tony. I sigh in relief and start walking up to her but stop when she pauses and growls.

"You need to hold your hand out so that she can sniff you. She does it to everyone." I look at him confused before my eyes drift to my mate.

I sigh to myself but hold out my hand to her. I watch her come closer and sniff my hand for a moment before nuzzling herself into it. I let out a silent sigh of relief.

"Hello little one. My name is Stephen strange. I am the head of the New York institute. I didn't mean to scare you." I say to her gently. She barks twice before running in the direction of the kitchen.

I turn to Stark. "Why is she-" I was cut off by Sam.

"She is a shape shifter. She got injured while on a run so won t be able to shift back until she's healed but she should be fine by the end of the week. Oh and her names Charlina." He says not looking over at me.

I nod and head in the direction of the kitchen to find my precious mate. Only to see the kid tossing popcorn in the air for her to catch. "How are you so good at this." This time when he throws the popcorn he throws it up so that he can try but fails miserably. I watch Charlina rush towards and catch it before it lands on the floor letting out a wolfie chuckle.

I smile as I watch this. I can't believe I've finally found her.
