It's been three weeks since Veronica became a Seymour. Well, that isn't the right phrasing exactly, in reality she's always been part of the family since day one. (slight Heathers reference there LMAO)She actually felt loved for the first time in years, she felt safe, warm, and appreciated. It was a great feeling and she didn't want it to end at all.
But, of course, things can't always go well, life isn't always a perfect fairytale, right?
Lets let her live her fairytale for a little while longer, shall we?

It began as a normal day, with Veronica doing her schoolwork. The group had decided it would be best for her to be homeschooled, considering how she was still quite anxious going out by herself.
She finished her work fairly quickly, as Cathy, her homeschool teacher, doesn't assign too much work.
She made her way down to the kitchen, and grabbed some pretzel sticks from the cupboard. Anne was sitting at the table, scrolling on her phone. She looked up, noticing Veronica.
"Hey, Vee! Pass me some pretzel sticks too please!"
Veronica grabbed a few more, and handed them to Anne.
"Do you know where Jane is? I haven't seen her all day" Veronica asked.
"Oh! I think she's in the study, working on a project" Anne said.
"She never told me she was working on a project... Do you have any idea what it is?"
"Uh... no?" Anne grinned nervously.
"Okay, you definitely do know, what is it?" Veronica asked. It's quite easy to tell when Anne is lying.
"I... don't know if I'm allowed to tell you, Jane might get mad at me. She's scary when she's mad"
Veronica nodded. Jane is very scary when she's mad.
"Okay, I guess I'll go up to her and see if she will tell me" Veronica said, finishing off the last of her pretzel sticks as she walked out.

Jane looked up from the sheets scattered on her desk as she heard a knock on the door.
"Come in!" she called out.
The door opened, and Veronica walked in.
"Oh! Vee, I haven't seen you all day, how was schoolwork? Hopefully Cathy didn't give you too much work" Jane smiled warmly.
"Ah, I didn't get too much work, got it alk done fairly quick" she smiled back, her smile falling slightly after a few seconds.
"I was wondering though... Anne told me you were working on some project, but she said she didn't know if she was allowed tell me? Did I do something wrong, I'm really sorry if I-" Veronica got cut off.
"Oh, no Vee, you done nothing wrong. I just wanted to tell you about the project myself, as it is quite a big deal" Jane reassured her.
"Ah, I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions like that.." Veronica said.
"There's no need to apologise for that, we all would have done the same. Now, do you want to sit down and I'll tell you about the project?"
Veronica nodded, and pulled the chair closer to Jane, sitting down.
"So, you know how technically the others and I are the ex-wives of Henry the Eighth?" Jane began.
Veronica nodded.
"We decided that we should tell our side of the story, not just from an outsiders perspective. Catherine then came up with an idea of how we could tell our story, and have it be enjoyable and entertaining at the same time."
She paused for a second.
"We decided on making it into a musical"
Veronica's eyes lit up. "That's a great idea! Have you much work done on it yet? Can I do anything to help?"
"Well, each of us is writing our own song to tell our story, and working together on the script part. We decided to make it a concert style almost, and a competition about who should be the leading lady in the band. We still don't really know how to end it yet though" Jane explained.
Veronica thought for a few seconds.
"This may not be the best idea, but how about it ends with you guys realising it shouldn't be a competition? And that you should work together to take back your story, and then have a song at the end that you all sing together?"
"That" Jane started. "That is our ending"
"Really? I'm so glad to help!!"
Jane wrapped Veronica in a hug, and the pair stayed like that for a few moments.
Veronica broke the silence. "I do have a question though"
"What is it?"
"You know how.. Your names are actually the queens names? Wouldn't people get kinda confused over that?"
"You see, those aren't technically our legal names. We couldn't go by them legally, otherwise it would be slightly strange, you know?" Jane said.
"Why did you trust me with your actual names when we met?" Veronica asked, slightly confused.
"Well, you didn't know our last names. Also, I'm not sure how to explain it, but as soon as I saw you, I trusted you? I don't really know, but I trusted you from the first interaction I had with you"
Veronica's cheeks flushed, feeling rather flattered about that. "Wow, thank you, that... actually means quite a lot to me"
"Of course" Jane smiled.
"Last question for now, I promise" Veronica said. "What are your guys actual legal names then?"
"Well, Catherine is Jarnéia Richard-Noel, Anne is Millie O'Connell, I'm Natalie Paris, Anna is Alexia McIntosh, Kitty is Aimie Atkinson and Cathy is Maiya Quansah-Breed"
