Aight ya know what frick it. I'm going my own way with this because I'm lazy and don't feel like following whatever neko thing was going to happen.

The next day, Dream woke up alone. Again.
She was growing accustomed to him doing that – sleeping with her for comfort but leaving before the morning came. She had to admit it wasn't her favorite habit of his, though she understood why he did it. The couple hadn't exactly formally made up yet; they still had a bit of discomfort around each other because of their past arguments.
But as Dream stood at her balcony with a cup of tea in hand, her shoulder leaning against the stone frame of the doorway, she couldn't even remember why she had been mad at Error. She couldn't really grasp what it was that made them so mad at each other. She thought it was stupid of her to forget something so important; although, another part of her was happy she forgot. Maybe she should try and see him sometime soon and see if they couldn't resolve things. It was exhausting trying to put up a front with him and her friends all the time.

Dream left her room and walked through the Sanctuary for the millionth time in her life. She stopped in the living room to see Ink and Nightmare sitting on the couch together, whispering quietly to each other words she couldn't hear. Though perhaps it was good she couldn't hear, because the words that left her elder brother's mouth made Ink blush a brilliant rainbow and giggle stupidly – no doubt some sort of flirting or compliments. Dream smiled, happy that they had found happiness in each other.
If only I could have that too...

Dream, after asking permission, teleported to Nightmare's Castle. It had been a very long time since last she'd seen Error; the last time had been when he took her home the night of the party – and that was weeks ago. This time, she was determined to make things right (permanently) between them.
The events from the party had been...well...unfortunately handled. Somehow (though she suspected Error told her), Ink found out what happened and took it upon herself to tell Nightmare. Nightmare was absolutely furious with the very idea of someone violating his sister. He immediately began searching for the culprit. Needless to say, he hadn't rested since he heard, and even ended up sending out several of his assassins (one of which being Killer himself) to look for the aggressor.
Unfortunately, there wasn't much luck in finding him...especially since Dream wasn't even sure who it was. Yes, she knew what he looked like, that information she gave to Nightmare and Killer, though the trauma of the night hadn't left her with a name. She had a hunch it was very possibly Nuit, though she didn't really want to give that out.
But why wouldn't she want him to be found? He had wronged her on multiple occasions, he had hurt her, he had harassed her, he had refused to listen to her, he had-
...
Dream knew deep down what would happen to him if either Nightmare, Killer, or even Error found him. They wouldn't hesitate to hurt him – maybe even kill him if they were having a bad day.
As much as she wanted him to disappear from her life and the lives of others (which is different from wishing him dead –), she didn't want him to die because of her.
...
Dream took a deep breath as she stood outside of Error's bedroom door.
"...this is it..." Her voice came as a whisper as she knocked twice on his door. There was a moment of silence before someone knocked back.
