Chapter 5

Amera POV

After I was through with talking to my dad I went to the waiting room to see Daniel asleep in one of the chairs. I quickly took a picture and then woke him up.

"Ready?" I asked as he stretched and got up

"Yea. Let's take you home you need to pack your things and pack everything. I will drop you off there and I'm headed to go talk to my brother but I'll be back soon." He said as we got in the car and pulled off.

I guess I fell asleep in the car because before I knew it we was at my house. I gave Daniel a kiss and got out.

"I'll be back I promise." Daniel said before backing out of the driveway and driving off.

I walked into my house and I seen my mother on the couch crying.

"Mom what's wrong? What's going on?" I asked sitting down beside her.

David POV

After Amira came into the living room with me and Nesha. The doorbell rang so I went to go get it.

"Who is it?" I asked I don't trust nobody

"Yo its ya bruh Daniel."

I opened the door to let him in, but instead he pulled me outside.

"Yo man Amira and Amera was our targets. If dad finds out their living with us we'll be dead. Literally." Daniel said "I know this is drastic but we gotta take them to Arkansas. At least we know that state better than this one. Are you in with me on this one or nah?"

"Yea man let me get Amira. And get LaNesha the fuck out my house." I said

I ran inside the house. I guess leaving the girls alone was a bad idea. Cause Amira looked like she was about to go off on Nesha.

"Nesha get out Amira pack your stuff and take it to my car. Make sure you have everything you need from here and your house." I throw her the keys to my orange and black dodge charger

"Why do I have to leave, look I love you and willing to make this work and if your going back to Arkansas I wanna go too." Nesha said not moving an inch.

"Girl I told you I moved on okay." I was still trying to get Nesha out the house when Amira walked by I grabbed her by the waist and started kissing her.

"How come she gets all of this treatment, you never gave me the keys to your car. You never gave me a spot in your house. Matter of fact this is the second time I was allowed over here this long." Nesha said

"Sorry but I don't know what you have against me but all of this needs to stop." Amira said going to the car.

"Do you love her?" Nesha asks "I'll leave you alone if you can prove to me you actually moved on. But I'm still going to Arkansas with you tho... Boo."

"No you not, Amira come here." I yelled

"Yes. Is everything okay." Amira asked

"Umm yeaa, everything's fine. Did you get everything?" I said mean mugging Nesha.

"Yea this is the last of it. Then I'll come get my phone and purse and I'll be heading home. Is that all you needed?" Amira asked walking to the door.

"Nah but let me carry that for you ma."

Amera POV
"Mom are you going to tell me what's going on. Your scaring me." I said trying to get everything together while trying to get her to talk to me .

"Honey sit down. I am going to tell you a story." she said wiping her eyes
"When me and your dad was in the 11th grade something terrible happened to me. A month or two afterwards I felt as if someone was out to get me. I wouldn't leave the house by myself. Sure enough after we graduated and gotten everything together me and your father moved down here to get away from there."

She said all at once. I didn't know what to say.

"So what's going to happen to me and Amira?" I asked trying not cry.

"You girls are going to go with David and Daniel. They are going to keep you safe. They're my god-sons, so I know I can trust them. I love you girls. Now hurry up and get out of here."
