Try your best, try your hardest you can do better
You can be
Better
Wipe your face,
Wipe your name,
Clear the forest.
Build,
Clearing the surface.
The deepest parts remain.
Unroot them.
Ironic.
Lose your roots,
Lose the deepest part,
Lose the best part of yourself.
How can you be better in that way?
Clean your face,
Clear the rotting plants.
Don't,
Don't wipe it clear of life.
Don't uproot the wise, wise trees.
Build using the best parts.
Don't cut the good trees,
Let them grow,
Extend their limbs.
Not a clean slate.
Yet something better.
The best version of you.
Yourself.
