Humane

Do what's right,

Do what's honest,

Yet they all lie,

When they say the world is pure,

When they say the word 'humane'

Who are they to assume,

Assume others didn't have feelings,

Didn't have emotions before them?

Placing themselves before all else,

Ruling as queens and kings,

Then attempting to rule each other,

When they both have ambitions,

Ambitions to rule.

Who are we to say what's what?

Consider ourselves superior.

When two meet,

With same goals and ambitions,

Same strengths and weaknesses,

Same feel to conquer,

Above all else.

They collide,

Yet none can win.

And so we say when someone's feisty,

A lust for ruling,

"What'll happen when they meet someone exactly like them?"

In the same way,

What'll happen to us?

We crash upon each other,

Destroying each other,

Waging war upon the earth,

The Earth.

Destroying what comes in our way,

Defeating ourselves,

Slowly,

Over time.

Humanity.

And so we say,

When we see emotions on a species besides ourselves,

Who think ourselves superior in a all ways,

More feeling,

More prone to hurt.

Wrong.

Wrong.

Wrong.

What we never want to admit to,

And when we do so,

Fall into a bigger trao,

A bigger mistake.

Lies.

Superiority.

A need for improvement,

Yet destroying other essentials.

Destruction.

An incoming doom.

Death upon ourselves,

Sealing our own fate.

Death.

Overall death,

Killing all,

Even ourselves.

'Humane'

So what does it mean?

Decide what one sees,

Closing our senses to what we don't want.

Opening up lies we want to hear.

Humanity.

Apologies to all involved,

Insulting it may seem.

Yet as time goes by,

You'll see the truth.

Unless you cover it up again,

Afraid.

Aware

I insult myself as well.

And to all those prideful,

Pride in what is right,

We all have a little bit of over pride after all.

Survive.

In spirit,

Help, not hurt.

No superiority.

More intelligence?

Perhaps,

Maybe we are simply biased,

As we have all been for the longest of time.
