For the next couple of weeks I barely saw Jungkook, he was always out and running errands. He wouldn't tell me where he went or what he was doing. He was very secretive and acted weird but as soon as he got home he always had the biggest smile on his face.

Normally, people would doubt and start questioning their partner if they acted weird and never spent time together but I wasn't afraid that he was cheating on me or something like that. I trusted him. Over the past events, I learned how important it was to trust your partner. Last time it almost cost our relationship but I was not letting that happen again.

Plus, Jungkook couldn't keep secrets away from me, I have known him long enough so I know when he is lying, if he had an affair with someone else he wouldn't have been able to keep it, the guilt would take over him.

I did have my ideas on what he was doing, I mean he did ask me to marry him that night very spontaneously and I told him I wanted a real proposal. One day I caught him checking out my jewelry, especially my rings.

- I'm heading out! Jungkook told me as soon as he stepped out of our shared bedroom.

He was dressed in a white dress shirt tucked inside his black jeans, formal yet casual. His hair was styled with the help of some hair gel but it was still messy-ish, in a good and sexy way of course.

- Where are you going? I asked, turning my attention away from my laptop and to him.

- Just out. I will be back in a couple of hours. He said.

- Can I come? I asked, already knowing he won't let me.

- Oh, ehm, maybe next time? Jungkook said, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

I giggled and nodded my head. He hurried over to me, pecking my lips softly before he rushed out of the apartment. I got back to my work on my laptop, continuing with what I was doing before he interrupted me.

*Jungkook's pov*

As soon as I sat down in my car I let out a deep sigh. I hated lying to Y/N, well, I was practically not lying, I told her I was going out to do some errands, I just didn't tell her the whole truth. I think she has an idea of what is going on, I tried to be discreet but it was hard, she could read me like an open book.

I started the car and drove towards the mall. I had an appointment at the ring store to help pick out the perfect ring for Y/N, I wanted it to be silver with a 3-carat diamond on top of it. She wasn't a big fan of huge jewelry or extravagant things. I had actually been saving up for a ring to her for a long time, saving a little every month until I had enough.

She deserved the best proposal and I was going to give that to her. I had ordered a bunch of flowers, white lilies, her favorite. My plan was to cook a delicious dinner and set up candles all over the apartment with pink rose petals on the floor.

I know it's not the fanciest place to propose in our own apartment but it's romantic and I know that Y/N enjoys our private time together, away from the public eye and just being the two of us.

In hopes she would say "yes" and that the night would lead to something more, I wanted to decorate the bedroom as well, lying the rose petals in the form of a heart on the sheets as well as candles.

My hands were sweating and my heart was racing as I prepared dinner. Y/N was with Soojin since I had asked Soojin to distract Y/N while I prepared everything. Soojin was very supportive of my proposal and assured me Y/N would say "yes", calming me down a little bit after I had called her and asked her for the 100th time.

Since Y/N didn't have a father figure in her life, I actually went to Soojin to ask for Y/N's hand. I needed to make sure she was ok with it before I asked Y/N to spend the rest of my life with me, marriage was a huge step and the first step was to get approval from her "parent".
