Not much happened during the rest of the week.

On Thursday, while coming back from her morning run, Yoori spotted Jenny loitering around in the Hera Palace lobby. The Yoo girl's school uniform was as pristine as ever, long black hair swishing around as she looked left and right while scanning the people around her, hands holding something behind her back.

Tilting her head, Yoori thought about walking over to speak to her for a moment but then decided against it. Jenny was clearly looking for someone and Yoori had a feeling that she wouldn't take too kindly to being distracted by pointless small talk. The Yoo girl wasn't too fond of the newcomer as it was and annoying her further would only make the tension between them thicker, and—quite frankly—Yoori didn't have the time or energy to deal with that right now. She had bigger problems to take care of.

Continuing on her way, Yoori walked through the lobby towards the elevators only to stop once someone suddenly appeared in front of her, blocking her way. She came to an abrupt halt and blinked in surprise at the black-haired girl who wordlessly shoved a neatly-wrapped box into her hands.

"Oh—Jenny—hi! I mean, good morning," the chestnut-haired girl greeted before looking down at the box that she had been given and curiously adding, "What's this?"

Jenny didn't reply straight away, too busy giving the older girl a once-over and scrunching her nose in disgust at her messy appearance.

Curly brown hair bunched up into what looked like a frazzled bun with loose strands poking out of it in all directions and some thin hairs sticking to her sweaty pink face, tracksuit's neckline drenched in sweat and muddy trainers leaving marks on the floor behind her—Yoori really was a sight to behold that morning.

And to say that Jenny was disgusted was an understatement. She was appalled to see someone walking around the prestigious grounds of Hera Palace in such a state and felt mortified to be standing with that very someone, out in the open where everyone could see them. The other tenants were sure to be judging her as they stalked by. If word got out, she would never live this down...

Once she had finished scrutinizing the elder's appearance and raised her eyes to meet Yoori's, Jenny answered her question with a simple utterance of, "Cookies. They're homemade."

Yoori uttered an 'oh' in understanding, nodding slowly. "And these are for...?"

"Consider it a welcome present," Jenny replied, leaning away slightly and scrunching up her nose. The smell of sweat was getting to her. And why was the ground refusing to swallow her up? At least 4 of her neighbours had walked past them already, no doubt snickering to themselves at the sight of the princess talking to someone who looked like they had been dragged through hell and back. "Enjoy them or throw them away—do whatever you want, I don't care. I have places to be so I'll get going now. Goodbye."
