Maddy was up stressing, she could not get her mind off her bedridden ex-boyfriend. Seeing him in that hospital bed beaten to a pulp drove her straight to tears, she felt sick. She knows she wants him back but she can't escape that little voice in her head screaming at her that he would only be put her through hell and back again. Maddy couldn't help but also (as bad as this sounds) think that he kind of deserved that beating.
Funny enough, as Maddy lay in bed she had another thought a small one no less but still, a thought. She kept thinking about that guy, what's his name? Terrance? Trey? Maybe Taylor? Well anyways, he was a cornball but he was kind of cute. He was lucky that she even graced that man's presence and smoked his blunt, which by the way was odd of him to even offer her something like that. And who the fuck asks a stranger can they kiss them? Mm, see no.
Now her mind was consumed with thoughts of him, party boy. That goofy smile, his sexy tattoos- NO. Maddy only had eyes for Nate, she couldn't let herself become fascinated with another guy. It isn't fair to him for her to become involved with someone else while her ex was probably thinking about her in that hospital.
Although they were broken up and have been for a while, she still felt as though she belonged to Nate. As toxic a mindset as that is, she didn't care. Ugh, it has to be whatever was in that weed that has me thinking about him, there's no way I'm still high, Maddy groans then turns over in bed. She just knew it was time for her to lay it down for the night.
Maddy takes one good look into the mirror across the room, just to admire herself one more time then she allows sleep to take her away for the night. Everything is going to be okay, everything will be alright, her last thought repeats.
