This Is what high school is really like?

•4th period•

I walked into 4th period. I'm excited to see Riley. There's a seating chart and I sit in the back with Luke Hence. I've seen him before in middle school. He's really good at basketball. I went to sit down and he looked at me for a second then looked away. I said," Hi!" To break the awkward silence. He didn't say anything. Rude much. I saw Riley walk in. I gave Riley a a smile and she gave me a wave. "You know her?" Luke asked. "Yeah, why?" I said. " She my sister." Luke said," Well half sister." Omg Riley and Luke are related. Why didn't she tell me. Maybe because she thought I didn't know him. Or something like that.

Then my teacher, Miss Sall said," Okay class welcome to math. Before we start class we're going to go to lunch,and then come back to learn in here okay." So everybody went to the door and we were going to lunch. Me and Riley were walking with each other on the way to lunch. I asked her if she was really Luke's sister and she said yes. We went in the lunch line and it looks like we're having meatloaf for lunch.

Me and Riley sat down and it turns out Hazel is in this class too. She sat down with Riley and I because she doesn't really know anyone. "So are you guys free tomorrow night?" I asked. "Yeah I mean it not like I know anyone here so where would I go on a Friday night." Riley said. Hazel also said,"Yeah I have nothing going on."  Then, I asked,"Would you guys want to go to the skating ring with me then." They both said yes. After that I asked why Riley moved here. It turns out here mom got a job in a different country and she had to stay with her dad aka Luke's dad.  And Hazel told us of how went threw a break up this summer. She wouldn't tell us who so I think she's lying.

Lunch was over and we went back to class. We have a project with the person we sit beside so that means Luke and I have a project together.I hope I don't have to do all the work,
