No End

Day 1?

Mona rose early in the morning. She looked at her phone and got out of her bed.

21st January
Friday
5:30am

She took a bath, brushed her teeth, had her breakfast and got ready for college.

"Someone's early." A voice came from behind her while she walked to college.

She turned to find Alexandra, her best friend since primary school walking up to her.

"Morning, Alex." She greeted as she walked by her side.

"Morning. So what's the occasion?" She asked.

"My alarm clock." Mona said.

"But you said it broke yesterday."

"That's the reason why. I tried to wake up at 6:40 but woke up an hour early."

They reached college an hour before the bell rang. Since they had time they decided to just chat about the show they watched.

"Today is the series finale. It's finally coming to a close after 7 seasons." Alex said.

"The Extraordinarian huh. The writer is Eila Falak right?" Mona said.

"Yup. She said that the series was based on her sisters and their friends. It's finally coming to an end."

"Didn't she say that there might be a sequel?"

"That would be based on her "The Storm After The Storm" book. It's like a continuation to the main storyline."

"I'm looking forward to it since TSATS is a fun read."

The bell rang and the teacher entered. The first period was Digital and Analogue Electronics.

After that was Maths, after which there was a 10 minute break.

"You want to walk around?" Alex asked.

"No. I'd like to walk around during a complete break. Before we can even begin our discussion the break would be over. So I'll just stay here and read my book." Mona said pulling a book titled "Mister Weird" by Dr. Stephen.

"Alright then." Alex said. "I'll go walk around. My legs are getting stiff."

10 minutes were not long enough for Mona to complete an entire chapter but she was able to complete a page.

<"What have you done?"

"Oh I didn't do anything." Mister Weird said.

"Then what's happening?" Marshall said.

"You are about to see what stupidity feels like. You are not going to like it."

The apparatus burst cause the chemicals to spill everywhere. The only things that protected Marshall were his lab coat and gloves.

"You really should have taken the entire book because the warnings come after the experiment." >

The bell rang and Mona closed her book. The class now was Data Science. After that was System Programing followed by a 45 minute break.

"What did you bring today?" Alex asked pulling her lunch box out of her bag.

"Sandwiches, you want 1?" Mona asked.

"Sure. You can have some of my pasta." Alex said opening her box.

After having lunch, they had about 20 minutes, so they decided to roam around for 15 minutes. During which they talked about books.

"The Modern In The Warrior World is a fun story to read." Alex said.

"Is it another reincarnation story?" Mona asked.

"It is but trust me it's good." Alex said.

"Alright then. What's the current status of the story?" Mona asked.

"It's still ongoing but the writer said that it will have only 12 chapters with a bonus chapter after that as an epilogue."

"Okay then I'll give it a read after today's finale." Mona said as they got closer to their classroom.

The lunch break was over and they had a 3 hour electronics lab.

After the lab was over, Alex and Mona walked back.

"Man that was exausting. That circuit was correct. Every single wire was in the correct place. Then why wasn't it working?" Alex ranted.

"Maybe the power supply wasn't on." Mona speculated.

"It was on. I had my eye on it."

"Then maybe the IC chip was broken?"

"I checked it with the lab assistant and she said it was in perfect condition."

"Maybe a wire was in bad condition?"

"I switched 2 sets of wires. There is a low chance of both of them having a defective wire."

"Then it was because of your IC chip connection. It was a 14 pin and you do know that 2 slots are left open because of that." Mona said.

"Oh." Alex said. "I didn't think about that."

They kept talking until Mona's house came and they said their goodbyes.

"Welcome back Mona. How was your day?" Mona's mother asked.

"It was okay mom." Mona said going to her room.

Mona spent the rest of the day completing her homework, reading her book and waiting for the final episode. After dinner she went to her room and turned her laptop on. She then waited for a half hour and finally the episode came. She watched it while lying in her bed.

Once the episode came to an end, she scrolled through the comments for a while and then went to sleep.
