Mona woke up and looked at her phone.
21st January
Friday
3:40am
She scrolled through her social media feed for an hour and a half after which she got out of bed, took a bath, brushed her teeth, had her breakfast and got ready for college.
"Someone's early." A voice came from behind her while she walked to college.
She turned to find Alexandra, her best friend since primary school walking up to her.
"Morning, Alex." She greeted as she walked by her side.
"Morning. So what's the occa- whoa you look really tired." She said.
"I tried to wake up at 6:40 but woke up a 3 hours early."
"When do you go to sleep usually?" Alex asked.
"Around 11:30pm." Mona said.
"You could just go back to sleep after waking up very early." Alex said.
"You know I can't go back to sleep once I wake up." Mona said.
"Okay but try to get a nap during the lunch break or something." Alex said.
They reached college an hour before the bell rang. Since they had time they decided to just chat about the show they watched.
"Today is the series finale. It's finally coming to a close after 7 seasons." Alex said.
"The Extraordinarian huh. The writer is Eila Falak right?" Mona said yawning.
"Yup. She said that the series was based on her sisters and their friends. It's finally coming to an end."
"She announced a sequel to that series yesterday."
"That would be based on her "The Storm After The Storm" book. It's like a continuation to the main storyline."
"I'm looking forward to it since TSATS is a fun read."
The bell rang and the teacher entered. The first period was Digital and Analogue Electronics.
After that was Maths, after which there was a 10 minute break.
"You want to walk around?" Alex asked.
"No. I'll just stay here and read my book." Mona said pulling a book titled "Mister Weird" by Dr. Stephen. "Who knows I might get tired while reading it."
"Alright then." Alex said. "I'll go walk around. My legs are getting stiff."
10 minutes were long enough for Mona to complete last remaining chapter
<"This story has gone on for far too long." He said.
"I agree. But you will stay here until you find a way out of the time loop." Mister Weird said.
"How do I do that?"
"You know the answer. And in time you will be able to discover it." Mister Weird said.
The flashback ended.
"Dead for almost 10 years but still taking me to school." He said smiling.
"Sir they are waiting."
"I'll be there in 2."
He took his watch off while looking at the wall clock and set the time to 12:01pm.
He set the watch down and walked out of the room.
The watch had something written on its back plate.

The bell rang startling Mona. She closed her book and put it in her bag. The class now was Data Science. After that was System Programing followed by a 45 minute break.
"What did you bring today?" Alex asked pulling her lunch box out of her bag.
"Sandwiches, you can have them." Mona said putting her head down on her table.
"You should eat your lunch. You are a growing lady afterall." Alex said in a maternal voice.
"Okay mom." Mona said sitting up.
After having lunch, Mona fell asleep. During which she had a dream or was a vision?
In that she saw "12:$!" flashing infront of her.
She looked around and found herself in a dark room and the only things which gave any light were the thing flashing infront of her and a big green circle surrounding the number.
She looked at the circle for a while until she spotted the blue dot in the ring. She walked closer and saw a number written there.
"So my guess was correct." She mumbled. "All I need to do is to crack this and the loop would be finally broken."
Just then she was woken up by Alex.
The lunch break was over and they had a 3 hour electronics lab. Mona couldn't pay attention to what was being taught at all. During the 10 minute break that the teacher gave them, Alex brought her some coffee to keep her awake for a while.
After the lab was over, Alex and Mona walked back.
"Man that was exausting. You had it more harder than me." Alex said.
"I know." Mona said yawning.
"Get a nap once you reach home."
"I plan to. But I'll have to complete my home work before that."
"You are very diligent, my dear."
They kept talking until Mona's house came and they said their goodbyes.
"Welcome back Mona. You look tired. Rough day?" Mona's mother asked.
"I'll be fine after a nap." Mona said going to her room.
She entered her room and dropped on the bed.
"It took me 10 loops to find the first 2 numbers and my guess of the second number being 2 was correct." She sighed and looked at the first page of the book "Mister Weird"

"Looking back it seems pretty dumb that I couldn't find out z was 2"
Mona spent the rest of the day completing her homework and taking a nap. After dinner she went to her room and turned her laptop on. She then waited for a half hour and finally the episode came. She watched it while lying in her bed.
Once the episode came to an end, she fell asleep.
