My footsteps resounded the area.

It was so silent, the only sounds I could hear are my footstep and that weird high pitch sound in my ears.

My wounds are not fully healed yet as I don't know anything about first aids other than cleaning the wounds, disinfecting it then put some ointments on it.

As a person who's not used to being hurt, the burning scratches wounds on my body really made me want to rest but I have to resist my urges as it's not a good idea to slow my pace down.

Every step I took, the wounds stretched, making it harder for it to heal even with my half-Asuran body regenerative body.

After walking a few minutes in this dark rocky narrow tunnel.

A quite large crater appeared before me, it was 7 meters in radius.

Crouching down and deactivating Jougans, I looked down the crater.

I was amazed at the scene. In the center of the crater there lies a single bright blue gem like football sized shiny stone.

It was the last legendary Phoenix's mana core with a will intact. My eyes couldn't left the stone, it was like I am being under an illusion spell.

—SLAP!

Slapping myself hardly on the cheeks, I slowly stood up, wondering...

To think that this core alone repelled beasts from coming near it. That alone showed how mighty and powerful the will inside the core is. The aura its emitting is no joke either.

Unfortunately, I couldn't be a beast tamer by absorbing it, as I don't have a mana core in me. Even if I couldn't get the 'Will', absorbing it will at least upgrade my fire magic to another level. I am happy with that as if this thing goes into the hand of the leader of 'The Shadow', I would have a real hard time fighting with him in the future, Phoenix's flame is a real pain in the ass to deal with. It could burn, heal and even freeze, what a cheat.

Exhaling carbon dioxide into the surrounding, I calmed myself and clasped my hand together. Fusing water and Earth elements,

—Fizz

A sturdy wooden snowboard appeared magically out of the rocky ground.

«Perfect! As expected of me»

I am proud of myself for probably creating the first snowboard in this world. Picking my work up, I walked towards the edge of the crater,

—Step

I stepped on the edge of the crater...

—FOOWSH!

I threw the board in my hand upward, as soon as it's going to land, I jumped and stepped on it,

—Slides

«WOOO~ !!?? *shake* t-t-the g-ground is t-too r-rocky!!»

It was fun at first, but I forgot that the ground is not suitable to skate.

I have to put all of my concentration onto balancing the board as I am not a fan of getting more wounds.
