"Wow…" The word managed to escape the awestruck girl as she carefully descended from the boat, her eyes wide with wonder as she took in the Island they had just docked on.
The sky was a clear blue with not a single cloud to take away from it's cerulean splendour and it just made the picture before her even more surreal.
The beach was wide, white sand warm and glinting under the morning sunshine, it seemed to sparkle as though there were tiny diamonds mixed between the grains of sand. The greenery was lush and thick, trees and plants ranging from deep greens to vibrant tropical colours and some of the prettiest flowers she had ever laid her eyes on dotted inbetween.
There was a stone pathway, just off the wooden dock she stood on, leading deeper into the island, between the majestic greenery to what she could only assume was a hidden paradise.
She could hear the distant sound of water gushing and her mind raced in excitement at the possibilities. Was it a waterfall? Or maybe just a large fountain or water feature? Whatever it was, it almost elicited a childish excitement and urge for her to run down the pathway and discover it for herself.
She couldn't pin-point what it was exactly about this place that was so captivating but there was a definite shift in energy that came the minute she stepped foot on the dock. She was absolutely breathless, never before having seen such a beautiful place despite the many vacations she had been forced on with her family. This was easily the most enchanting place she had ever been.
Her eyes soon landed on the two figures emerging from the greenery and approaching them from the stone pathway. A smile lit up on her face at the immediate recognition of the red headed male.
"Yoongi" She let out in relief and he had his usual lazy smirk on his face as he took in the groups arrival.
Stepping off the dock, she felt her feet sink into the sand for a moment before advancing behind her travel buddies towards the two who approached them.
"Welcome to the Island of Hope!" It was the man that she hadn't recognised that addressed them and the bright smile on his glowing face was contagious.
He looked radiant, his blonde hair was slicked back with only a single strand left to decorate his forehead, a pair of designer sunglasses settled on top of his head. He wore a loose fitting black shirt with bright red flowers splashed across its surface, the first few buttons left undone to reveal his sun-kissed chest, along with black dress pants and a pair of sneakers she was sure she'd hadn't seen in any of the latest collections yet.
His arms were spread wide like the grin on his face and she couldn't miss the expensive gold watch clasped on one wrist or the pink flower he held in his other hand. He was just as vibrant as the island around him.
Jimin snorted nearing the man first with a roll of his eyes. "The 'Island of Hope?' And here I was thinking that you couldn't get any more cheesy." He teased and the sunshine man's expression fell into a playful eye roll of his own, his fingers moving swiftly and flicking Jimin on his forehead before he could pass him making the younger yelp.
"Shut up Jiminie, I'm talking to the pretty girl, not you." He sassed and Jimin grumbled as he advanced further down the stone pathway, Jungkook giggling as he followed behind.
"Imani," Sunshine man's eyes finally settled on her, his smile returning into a softer, more welcoming version.
"It's so good to see you, I'm Hoseok." He stepped closer, quickly enveloping her in a totally unexpected hug. Yet, it was one of the warmest hugs she had ever felt and she couldn't do anything but melt into his welcoming embrace.
