13. Guilt ?

Jimin turned into a nervous ball under the gazes at the large dining table. There are 10 people excluding Jimin and Yoongi. Yoongi's parents and grandfather and his two elder brothers and their partners and three kids.

Jimin trained himself with imagined and expected questions. Still, he felt unprepared, Yoongi's mother didn't even smile for once and it bothered him greatly. His fingers curled around his coat end. He breathed in and out as the server filled their plates. Everything screams wealth here.

He still can't believe Yoongi left all of it to achieve his dreams. He went against his father and grandfather's wish to take care of their business like his siblings. And he fell in love with Yoongi for that very reason. Yoongi was never behind money, unlike the people he got to meet in his life.

" We heard about the announcement "

Jimin was about to take a spoonful of soup when he heard the voice, he trembled a little to put back the spoon into the cup.

" yes, I and Jimin decided to be official and we are thinking about having a small marriage ceremony"

Yoongi tells them about the plans. But the disapproving looks on his parents and grandfather are nerve-wracking, Jimin doesn't know when they will meddle in his life and put a stop to everything.

His grandfather asked looking at Yoongi. Jimin felt his breath hitch and didn't know how to take it out.

Thanks to yoongi, Jimin could breathe again.

The lunch went silently. His brothers talked barely. Jimin liked the time he spent with the kids after lunch as they told him to be out of their family time considering he is still not a family, though Yoongi protested, Jimin said he was okay.

The voice made Jimin turn to the source, he unlocked the kid in his arms who happily jumped towards the other shouting he won and Jimin lost.

" Mom..."

" It's mam, considering my son still not tied with you "

" Mam, it's going to be soon. And I hope you will allow me to call you like that "

" You do know right, you are not at all equal to any of our standards. I can't still comprehend how you mind-washed my son."

" I do know mam, but I love your son, I will take care of him and keep him happy always-"
