"What's going on?" Dude asked with a sigh. The two dark-haired girls were currently locked into a staring contest.
"Misty took the last purple balloon." Pip explained, "I need it for my octopus."
"Well, I need it for my spider." The shorter girl retorted, folding her arms across her body.
"So let me get this straight:" Bud muttered, coming over at that moment, "You two are fighting over a balloon?!"
He was interrupted by a squeal from Pip. Misty had grabbed the balloon in the commotion and was whacking Pip over the head with it.
"Give the balloon to Pip," Dude ordered, "Purple's her colour."
"Pretty hypocritical coming from the guy holding a grey balloon."
"Okay, that's it." Dude grabbed his balloon and swung it at Misty, but accidentally hit Mimi, who glared at him.
"Guys..." Bud tried to say but got no response. Snarling, he shaped his balloon into a sword, waving it in front of the others, who followed suit.
The quarrel escalated into a full-on war within minutes, balloons flying everywhere. Some of their older fans, whom the gang seemed to have forgotten were also in the Skyline, had begun recording the event while the younger kids simply watched, a few deciding to join in.

"That's enough, all of you!" Candi's voice cut in as she walked into the magic circle, clutching a plastic bag tightly.
"Where'd you go?" Sprout asked, a little confused. He hadn't noticed her leave.
"To get these." The pink-haired girl replied, handing the bag filled with brightly coloured balloons to Dude. Misty and Pip shared glances before both grabbed a purple balloon from the pack and resumed making their animals, forgetting about their argument. The others sighed and returned to their balloon animals, peace restored in the Skyline once again.
