Bani jumped excitedly hearing the sound that the anklets were producing while Veer laughed wholeheartedly, witnessing her childishness.
"Sweetheart, you're such a kiddo." Veer chuckled, making her frown at him.
"I'm 18 now so don't call me a kiddo anymore. From today onwards, I'm no longer restricted from watching 18+ movies." She grinned in excitement while Veer was amused with the newly found information.
"Ahaan, I got it now that you're no more a kiddo." He said with a teasing smile playing on his lips and wrapped his arms around her.
"Are you teasing me, Mister?"
"No, I'm not." He whispered and gazed into her eyes lovingly to which Bani gazed back at him. Both their eyes were locked on each other as he slowly pushed her backward until her knees touched the edge of the bed.
"What are you tryi--" She hissed when they both landed on the bed and she was sandwiched between him and the bed. "A-Ansh?" She stuttered as he slowly traced her lower lip with his finger.
"Can I kiss you, Jaanu?" His sudden question caught her off guard and she blushed as it was the first time he was asking her consent before kissing her. She nodded slightly and he didn't take much time before placing his lips against hers.
Bani closed her eyes with her hands clutching his hair while Veer cupped her nape before deepening the kiss. He bit her lower lip in order to enter into her mouth and before Bani could open her mouth, they swiftly parted away when they heard someone barging into the room.
"Veer, when did yo... Holy shit!" It was Sid, who barged into the room as usual and froze at his spot when he saw Veer hovering over someone on the bed. Bani widened her eyes when she recognized Sid's voice and Veer quickly pulled the blanket over her head to hide her from Sid's eyes.
"Who the fuck is that, Veer? Are you cheating on my sister? It's her birthday today and instead of being with her you are here making out with a b--"
"Don't complete that sentence, Sid!!!" Veer roared at him and sat up on the bed. Sid flinched at Veer's tone but quickly composed himself and marched towards Veer.
"Then tell me who the hell is she?" He asked, grabbing Veer's collar while Veer rolled his eyes at his overdramatic behaviour.
"Stop it, Sid. I'll tell you but promise me that you won't freak out after knowing about her."
"What the f--" He paused as Bani threw the blanket away and sat up taking heavy breaths. She felt it suffocating to stay inside the blanket for too long so she decided to reveal herself as her beloved brother had no intention on leaving the room before knowing about the girl who was making out with Veer.
"Princess?" He whispered in shock while Bani gave him a sheepish smile. "What the hell are you doing in his room?" He yelled at her and she pouted at him, showing her puppy eyes.
