Chapter one

"Marie! Marie! Get up!" The first thing marie hears as she wakes up. "What do u fucking want finn!" She groans as she turns over.
"Aunt polly says the boys are coming back today!" He shouts at her as he opens her door. Marie instantly shot up from her bed. Her tiredness long forgotton. "What?" "Its true. They are coming back. Its finished. The wars finished marie" She tosses the covers away from her and she stand up and walks over to him. "Dont fuck with me. You better not be fucking with me finn" She warns pointing a finger at him. He nods his head. "Its true honset" He swears. Its silent for a second. Until mariana lifts up finn and laughs. "Finally! Finally!" She laughs again. "Polly said hurry up and get dressed. The train stops here at 2"
He says and runs of to leave her. She smiles to herself and turns around to get ready.

"MARIANA! GET YOUR SHOES ON! OR WE WILL LEAVE WITHOUT YOU!" Aunt polly shouts.
Marie runs down the stairs and gets her shoes on.

Marie waits for what feels like hours until the train finally arrives.
"Do you think they will remember us?" She asks, her hand shaking slightly. "Probably" Ada says not looking at her. "What if they dont? What if they forget about me? What if they dont love me? what if-" She gets interupted by polly grabbing her hand. "Marie, love. Its war, they would have changed. But not that much. They love you with all their heart. So do we. Dont worry" She reasures.

"Look! There!" Finn shouts.
And they all look to where he is looking.
Its true. All 3 of them. Stepping of the train.
"Oh my god" Marie mutters under her breathe before running towards them.
"Marie! MARIE WAIT!" Polly calls but before she can grab arm she was already halfway there.

"Arthur! John! Tommy!" She shouts repeatedly to try and gain their attention.
"Marie!" John shouts
"JOHNNY!" she screams as he runs towards her and picks her up and spins her around. Neither of them wanting to let go afraid they would loose eachover again.

Marie has always been close with john.
he was her best friend. Always there to make her laugh.

"Mariana! I told you not to run off. Something could have happend!" Polly scolds
"Aunt poll!" John says while setting marie down and hugging her.
"Arty!" Marie says as Arthur picks her up and hugs her.
"Mary- anne!" He sighs hugging her tight.
After a while. He lets go of her to hug the others.
"Tommy" marie breathes out. Tom looks at her and opens his arms. She runs into them smiling. He holds her and rests his head ontop of hers. "God i missed you" He breathes out.
"me too" she says.
He puts her down after kissing the top of her head.
"God, youve grown" he says.
"It happens" she shrugs.
He laughs and puts his arm around her shoulder.
