Kingdom of Hearts || ON GOING

Chapter One

There was a light knock on my bedroom door that had awoken me from my sleep. I groan and sit up rubbing my eyes to see who's there. "Come in," I call.

"Good Morning Your highness," my maid Marlene says as she walks in carrying a tray of food, setting the tray down beside me before walking off into my closet to get an outfit for today.

"Good Morning Marlene," I respond smiling at her and picking at the tray of food. Looking carefully at the tray theres a bowl of banana slices. As I pick them up Marlene holds up two dresses for me to choose from.

"Which one would you like today darling?" The two dresses Marlene held up were absolutely stunning but I ended up picking a pale purple off the shoulder dress with lace all over the bodice.

Marlene puts my dress beside my vanity and lines up my makeup and tools to help get me ready for the day. "Come darling lets get you ready." She says once everything is set out.

As soon as I sit down at my vanity Marlene walks over to my bed and grabs the tray bringing over the rest of the fruits that were laid out for me. She places the food in front of me and rolls her eyes as I reach for the bananas.

"You've always been in favour of just plain bananas for breakfast."

I shrug as I stick another piece in my mouth while Marlene starts to fix my hair. I silently eat my food while Marlene curls my hair into soft curls and does my very simple makeup that I prefer to have on a daily basis.

"I hear Prince Hugh will be coming by the place for a few days."

"And who told you that?" I question with bananas in my mouth.

"You're father darling. He wanted you to be prepared for his visit and not to hide away in your library like you always are when he is here."

"But Marlene, you know very well that I do not want to marry him."

"I know darling, but your father is very old fashioned, and you very well know he won't let you out of it. Just try to get to know Prince Hugh a bit more this visit please."

Sighing I nod that I will try to this visit. Smiling at me she then puts down everything, "all done darling." I smile in return and take my dress into my closet. I take off my nightgown and unzip the dress to put it on. Marlene ends up helping me zip up the dress and we decide to top it off with my silver choker. Marlene then hands me my favourite tiara, which as diamonds all over. Looking at myself in the mirror I smile and walk out to meet the rest of my family.

As my heels click against the marble flooring of the castle I start to think about Prince Hugh. Prince Hugh is the Crowned Heir of Sunem, he's also who I am supposed to marry when I turn 18. Which thankfully isn't for another two years. I walk into the dinning room and see my siblings sitting down eating.

"Good Morning siblings," I say smiling at my brothers.

"Good Morning Belle," my older brother Nathaniel says to me not looking up from his book.

"Morning Bells," Avery my twin says smiling back.

Sitting down beside Avery I snack on some more bananas that were already placed onto my plate. All of a sudden the doors open and in come my parents. My brothers and I stop eating and stand instantly as they walk in.

"Good morning children," My father says to us.

"Good morning Father. Good Morning Mother," the three of us say in unison. Our parents sit down and we follow suit. I look down at my bananas and eat them slowly not really paying attention to the noises around me.

All of a sudden I hear my mother ask me a question, "Belle are you prepared for the arrival of Prince Hugh?" I look up from my plate and just shrug slightly unsure of what I actually feel.
