When Marlene finally comes back Abigail and I are sitting down on my bed reading a story. Marlene smiles over at us and hangs the dress up next to mine. I nudge Abigail slightly to get her to look up a the dress that Marlene had brought back for her.

"Thats so pretty," Abigail says jumping off of the bed and rushing over to the dress.

"It is, Princess Belle used to be so picky with her dresses that every single ball she had to go to she'd wear this one," Marlene tells her.

"I was not that picky," I comment walking closer to them.

"I'm sorry your highness you were that picky," Marlene says looking at me smiling.

"Alright maybe I was," I respond giggling softly.

"Marlene would you please help Abigail get ready for the ball?" I request.

"My pleasure your majesty," Marlene says holding out a hand for Abigail to take. She takes her frail hand and guides Abigail out of the room with the dress, tiara and shoes in tow. I sit down at the vanity and look into the mirror.

"Guess its time to get ready myself," I say softly.

Ringing the bell to bring Alex and Florence come back into the room along with some other maids to help get me ready.

All of a sudden there is a soft knock on my door, and I hear Avery and Miles call out from behind it. I roll my eyes and laugh at the two o them while walking to the door.

"What are you two doing here you know I have to get ready for the stupid ball."

"We wanted to tell you that we met Abigail, and she's supper cute, you did a really good thing inviting her to the ball with you," Avery says to me.

"Thanks Ave but I really gotta get ready," I say looking at the two of them.

"I also wanted to tell you that Allen wasn't really all that happy that you went to the village with Hugh," Miles tells me.

"Why would he care? He and I are just friends nothing more nothing less," I question, as my stomach fills with butterflies.

"I don't know," Miles shrugs.

"Well whatever, I gotta go finish getting ready, I'll see you guys at the ball," I respond closing the door.

Sitting back down I let the other maids continue to work on my hair and make up while I keep thinking as to the reasoning why Allen wasn't happy that I left the palace grounds with Hugh. I mean I have had a crush on Allen since we were little kids but I know he'd never see me as anything more than his best friends little sister.

By the time Marlene and Abigail come back into my room I am just about ready with my hair in a low bun with pieces of my hair out around my face curled and to help frame my face. We decided on natural smokey eye and a simple pale pink lipstick to not distract from the beautiful dress. They both look at my hair and make up in awe of how beautiful it was.

I smile at both of them and get up to go put on my dress. One of the maids that was helping me with my hair and makeup follows me into my closet where my dress is. I smile at the mannequin that my dress is hanging from and slowly start to undo the zipper of my current outfit. My dress falls softly to the ground and the maid takes off my other dress from the mannequin and helps me into it.

I then slip my feet into my not very tall heels and walk out of the closet to show Marlene and Abigail.

"Wow Princess Belle that dress looks amazing on you," Abigail says gawking at how pretty it is.
