"lily! did you steal my black skirt?"

"what? of course not dear sister of mine." lily answered her older sister alice. as she ran down the stairs in a black skirt with a white long sleeve blouse. her hair in braids.

"lily i laid that out for me to wear! i had my whole outfit ready and now i have to find something else. i can't believe you didn't ask. i would have let you." alice honestly would have let your sister wear her skirt if she asked.

alice proceed to look through her closet when her mother came into the room.

"ali dear. you could wear the green floral skirt with a black top. it would look great with your eyes. the light brown with the black and the greens." her mother aurora had told her while laying back onto alice's bed.

"mum, that's a great idea thank you! love you i'll be down in a minute." alice replied to her mother as aurora made her way out of the room to check on her sons.

"hello dear. are you excited for your fourth year?" she asked her oldest son, max.

"yes, although i am worried about division. ali told me how crazy she is." max looked at his mother for the first time since she walked in. she could see how his eyes light up talking about his sister and hogwarts.

"you'll do fine doll. alice will be there to help and guide you along the way. make sure lily is ok. i'm really worried with the whole-" aurora started but then quit when she realized what she was about to say.

"what is it mum?"

"oh it's nothing you'll found out soon enough my dear." aurora told her son.

when it was finally time to leave aurora called all of her children to the entry way.

"alice, max, regulus, lily. we're leaving with or without you come down to the entryway."

she got all sorts of "i'm coming" "give me a minute please" "i'll be down in one second" then regulus carefully stepped down the stairs when lily ran into him and then they both landed right in front of their parents.

tyler rolled his eyes playfully while aurora looked at her children then to lily and said "i told you one day you would fall" everyone just starts laughing. when alice and max finally came down they flooed to the platform.

"alice darling look after your siblings. your the most responsible. please make sure lily gets settled ok. i'm really worried about that." alice hugs her mother tightly and says,

"of course mum. i love you."

"oh darling you have no idea how much i love you." aurora looks at her daughter with such pride.

tyler goes to his oldest daughter and says "i love you dear. you have made us so proud and i'm sure you will do great make sure to owl us as much as possible."

"love you too dad."

aurora looks towards her other children and says "be safe. look after each other. and most importantly i love you and i'll miss all of you greatly."

they all reply with love you toos and of course.

Alice's POV

"bye mum" alice waved to her parents and started to walk to her usual apartment when she felt something or well more of someone grad her hand. she looked down and saw her younger sister holding her hand and asked her, "hey lils, do you want to sit with me and my friends they wouldn't mind?"

lily slowly looked up to her sister and said "do you think they would mind? if they would i could go find reggie or max?"

alice looked at her sister and spoke her head. "of course not lils they love you. they wouldn't mind at all. if anything they would be thanking me for bringing my wonderful younger sister with me."

they sisters shared a laugh and then walked into alice's usual compartment.

when they walked in multiple people jumped up and hugged the two sisters.

rhea malfoy jumped up and hugged her cousins and said "oh my gosh. i've missed y'all so much. father is mad at me again and then mother didn't stand up for me and it hurt."

"rhea are you okay?" alice asked her cousin carefully as she hugged her with her sister in the middle of them.

"hey you know i'm getting squished down here!" lily said when she finally got tired of hugging people.

"i don't believe we've met. i'm cedric diggory. your sisters one and only best friend soon to be more." cedric told lily as she looked at him strangely as she has only ever heard about cedric or as her sister says ced.

"well no we haven't formally met but i've heard about you from my dear sister. so your the infamous cedric "ceddy" diggory. she always talks about." alice looked at her sister with a beat red face while nick fawley high fived her.

"nice one lils you got her good." nick told the eleven year old girl.

nick was a family friend. he had grew up with the yaxley children and they saw him as another brother. although lily would say she already had to many.

rhea then looked at the girl and said "when did you get feisty?" lily looked at the girl from where she sat by nick.

she then said, "hun i've always been this way. mum says i get it from auntie bella but dad says it's really from her."

everyone laughed at what she said. alice continued and said "so how was y'all's summer?"

nick was the first to answer "well i'll go first. i seen lily and alice at least every two weeks. went to the states. watched my brother get disowned so pretty good."

lily looked at nick and said "i'm sorry but maybe he's in a better place."

nick looked down to the girl he saw as a younger sister and said " it's not you fault elara. you shouldn't be sorry."

nick had called lily elara since she could remember. he said it was because no one ever used middle names anymore so he'll put hers in use. and ever since then no one else called her elara.

so how was it? i love the idea of cedric and alice together. it is the goblet of fire year so interesting and drama filled!!
