Chapter 4: Noises

A/N: Hi! Sorry for uploading a chapter a bit late, I may or may not have forgotten. Forgive me, even though barely anyone reads this story.

Chapter 4: Noises 

     I was walking through the forest Hallia told me to go through, it seemed like I was almost half way to the fairies castle. Hallia had given me a map so I knew where I was going, I'm still so grateful for her, she even gave me some food for my journey! 

Timeskip: 25 minutes

     I was quietly humming the song "Roar" by Katy Perry, I think I used to be really addicted to that song, I would listen to it for hours everyday. 

I was stepping over some rocks until I see something in the distance, I squinted my eyes a little, a river! It was a river. I run to the river and splash some water on my face, my face felt dirty so that was really refreshing. 

I was enjoying the cold water and warm breeze against my skin until I heard a noise, I tensed up. Whenever there is a noise in a movie something bad always happens, the noise sounded like it was to my left, I slowly take out the pocket knife Hallia gave to me just in case of emergencies. I know for a fact if I run I'm just going to seem like a pussy and the noise is going to come after me, and so I walked over to the where the noise was coming from while holding the pocket knife in my right hand, there were big leaves covering the area and so I dashed forward and cut the leaves down revealing a... santa elf? Doesn't matter, what matters is that it definitely scared me. 

"GAHH WHAT THE FUCK" I jumped backwards and fall on my ass causing the santa elf to shriek, I think I scared them. "uhhhm, hi?" I nervously say. The elf had pink skin, big black eyes, a santa hat... but it was baby blue, brown pointed shoes and a brown tainted dress, they seemed harmless so I tried to comfort them. "uh, I'm sorry about that, are you okay?" I softly ask, looking down at the elf while I was still on the ground, the elf looks up, confused this time. "Who are you?" Turns out that elf is a guy. "I'm Katy" I answer, "and you?" It looked like they were about the say something but they stopped themself, then says "I'm Fenrir" (fen-rr). "Nice to meet you Fenrir" I say politely not wanting to scare him again, "uhm, yes nice to meet you, what are you doing here and why?" He asks me. I explain to him how I got to this universe, why I was in the forest and where I'm going, I also mentioned Hallia, and turns out Fenrir was actually the friend she was talking about! How could I be this lucky? 

     Fenrir offered me a place to stay for the night at his house once I mentioned Hallia, they were childhood bestfriends and still are, that's what Fenrir said. I accepted his offer and here I am, sitting down on a comfy couch holding a mug of... I have no idea, but it tasted good so I didn't say anything. 

"Not in a rude way or anything but what are you?" I ask Fenrir, his house was much like Hallia's, it was very warm and cozy, I love things like that. "I am a pixie, a pixie gardener to be exact, I work on the gardens around here" Fenrir answers, I thought for a second "so kinda like a fairy?" I say to Fenrir, "something like that, but fairies are much more popular and if I'm going to be honest, better, and I was born without wings, it's quite common for other pixie's."

It was interesting hearing Fenrir's thoughts about his own species, it seemed as though something happend to him when he was younger or something, I didn't want to bring anything bad up so I just said "can you tell me about the fairies castle? Hallia said you would know something about it and how I can get there," he looked up to him me to make eye contact, it was awkward. "I've been to the fairies town but never the castle, they don't allow outsiders in, even other fairies. Quite suspecious if you ask me" Fenrir says putting his hand on his chin. "Oh, well, I'm trying to get there, do you know anything I would need to know for when I get there?" I ask him, "well I'm not exactly sure how you'll get in the castle but you should talk to the store owner of a tea shop called Kaya's Teashop, she'll probably know what to do next." 

I sleep at Fenrir's place for the night and continue my journey to the fairies castle again in the morning. I was packing some food and water that Fenrir let me have, he was very nice like Hallia, I can see why they are friends. 

I waved to Fenrir, "goodbye! I hope to see you again once I finish my journey, thank you so much for everything!" I say to him "of course, it was a pleasure" he says back, smiling. 

I walk off back into the forest, I sigh, so far everything is going fine, I just hope I can get to the fairies castle.

     "Master, if I may ask, why did u tell me to help out that girl?" 

"Who said you could talk!?" 

"I-i'm sorry!" the man fell to his knees.

"Don't ask questions, just do what I tell you to do." He walks away.

A/N: Sorry for not uploading a new chapter, I've been a bit busy and I definitely didn't forget that I had this story. I will try to upload new chapters every 2 days!
