Chapter 10

Monica's POV

"What do you mean my sister has been captured by the Akatsuki?" I asked him.

"I don't know how. All I know is that Kakashi-Sensei told me to tell you what I know." Iruka-Sensei said.

"I want to see him. I want to see Kakashi-Sensei right now." I said as I was looking to make sure I have everything.

"Monica. You can't." I stopped and looked at Iruka-Sensei.

"And why not?" I asked him.

"Kakashi and his team are in the hospital. The Third probably won't even let anyone go near them." He said.

"What about us then?" The genin asked.

"I don't know."

It was quiet afterwards. Three teams don't have a Sensei. My sister was captured. I didn't know what to do. I ran to my room and locked it. I heard someone run after me and knock on my door.

"Monica. It's me, Kuraudo. Let me in." He said.

I didn't say anything. I stayed on my bed and let my tears run down my face. This is all too much. Kuraudo kept knocking and telling me to open the door. Eventually, he stopped and left. I cried even harder. I didn't mean to make my cousin mad. It's just. Ugh. My life just keeps getting worse and worse by the day. I laid down in my bed and drifted off into space.

"Are you okay?" A voice asked.

"Why are you talking to me again?" I asked her.

"Why can't I?" She asked me.

"Because Yuki. You said you would never talk to me again. Nor would you help me."i told her.

I watched as a snow colored eleven tailed wolf appeared. Yuki looked at me with her onyx colored eyes. She turned her head away from me and laid back down behind her cage.

"You use to be a great ninja. You would always care for others and help them in their time of need. Look at yourself now. You're in your room. Crying because your sister was taken by the Akatsuki. You won't even talk to your cousin who wanted to help you." Yuki said.

"Shut up." I said in a hushed voice. "Shut up. Shut up. SHUT UP!" I yelled.

"Why don't you wake up to your surroundings. Maybe there is someone willing to help you out." Yuki said.

I looked up and saw my ceiling. I heard someone knock on my door. I slowly got up from my bed and walked to the door. I activated my Jinpishugi no eyes. I saw past my door and saw Neji. I slowly opened the door. I still had my eyes activated as Neji walked into my room. He walked to my bed and sat down. He motioned me to sit next to him. I walked over to him and sat down next to him.

"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked me.

"I don't know." I said.

I felt tears starting to roll down my face again. I watched as the fell onto my hands and on to the floor. We stayed quiet for a while as I was crying. I felt Neji put his hand on my shoulder farthest away from him and pull me into a hug. My eyes went big and I didn't know what to do. I slowly lifted my arms and wrapped them around Neji. I started to cry harder on to his shoulder.

I heard Neji whisper sweet nothings into my ear and was rocking me back and forth like a child. I held on to him like my life depended on it. We stayed like this until I calmed down. When I did, I let go of him, but he didn't. I looked up at Neji. He looked down at me and he had a slight blush on his face.

I started to inch my way up to his face. He moved his hand and lightly grabbed my chin. I stopped moving and waited to see what Neji was going to do. He moved his face towards mine. And he crashed his lips into my lips. I felt like i was in heaven. I felt Neji move his lips and his arms snake around my waist. I moved my lips with his and he held me tightly.When we parted, we were both out of breath. I looked into his eyes and smiled.
