Chapter 13

No one's POV

Everyone was still mourning the death of the Hokage. The village was being built again with the help of everyone. Jiraiya took Naruto on a journey to go and find the new Hokage after being assigned to protect Naruto. Kurenai-Sensei, Asuma-Sensei, and Kakashi-Sensei found Itachi and his partners in the leaf village and attempted to stop them. They failed miserably and Kakashi-Sensei was trapped in a genjustu.

Asuma-Sensei and Kurenai-Sensei, with the help of Gai-Sensei, took him to his house where he is currently being watched. Sasuke ran into Kakashi-Sensei's house and questioned the Jōnin that were there. They didn't say anything until a Chunin barged in and started talking about Itachi and that he is after Naruto. After hearing this, Sasuke went and chased Naruto. Without knowing, Itachi and his partners followed Sasuke and found Naruto first.

Monica's POV

I followed after Sasuke with May when he heard Itachi was after Naruto. I sent Mar to go and get help from Asuma-Sensei, Kurenai-Sensei, Gai-Sensei or someone. We finally caught up with Sasuke and I saw Itachi, a man with blue skin with a sword towards Naruto's neck, and a girl who looked familiar. Sasuke attacked Itachi, but only to get hurt by him.

"No!" I yelled. Itachi looked at me with no emotions whatsoever.

"Monica-chan!" Naruto said.

"What are you doing here? This is my fight with Itachi." Sasuke said.

"No it is not Sasuke. Let him go now Itachi." I said while May growled at him.

"What are you going to do about it?" He challenged me.

"May attack!" I said.

"Hai! Wind style: Invisible Fangs!" May said. She barked that invisible wind formed around her mouth making them look like fangs. She barked once more the fangs went towards Itachi.

"April."

I looked at the third Akatsuki member. Did she just say April. All of a sudden a white dog with a black spot appeared in front of May. It looked May straight in the eyes and it stopped that attack from hitting Itachi.

"April?" May asked.

"I'm sorry." She whispered very softly so her master couldn't hear her. "Lighting style: a thousand years of thunder howls". Lighting started to appear around April and she started to howl. May stood there frozen, not knowing what to do.

"May, get out of the way!" I yelled to her. But she didn't listen. I started to run towards her. I looked at April and her lighting started to rise into the air. It formed into a threatening cloud and was aiming at May. I sprinted at full speed and scooped up May before the lighting hit her. The cloud was still in the air and it was still trying to aim for May. I ran towards Itachi and flung May at him. He immediately let go of Sasuke and moved his arms for protection. While he was busy, I dashed to Sasuke and grabbed him.

"Let me go Monica! I need to do this!" Sasuke said to me.

"Really? Itachi is a very powerful ninja, along side with a powerful kunoichi and a man who looks like a fish." I said.

"Who are you calling a fish?" The man said. "The name is Kisame brat."

"Sheesh. When did the Akatsuki become brats?" I muttered.

"You should know everyone here now Monica." Itachi said. "Kisame, me and you lovable sister, Arianna."

I watched as my sister pulled down her hat. I was shocked to see her. With the Akatsuki. I heard people running behind me and gasping.

"No way."

"It can't be."

I heard Kuraudo and Hikari gasping and talking. I felt someone put there hand on my shoulder and someone else stand next a to me. I looked and saw my dad and Cisco next to me. I turned towards one person who said nothing.
