14.

two years late** (alex is now a senior)

I had sent out several college applications to wherever. My dream school is U of A. I also applied to soe schools close to home to stay close to mom and dad. My younger brother are also recieving their letters from highschool as well. My best friends, Sebastien, but I call him Bash. He moved next door to us that same summer I meet the Fooo. We had gotten close those two years. We had several classes together and would walk home together every day after school and to school. 

I woke up and got out of bed. I went straight for the window to see if the mail man had come. He had not. Savannah went out with my brother and my dad was out golfing. We didn't have school today thankfully. 

I tried to call OG. I had stayed in contact with him over the years, but not the others. I asked him to promise not to tell the rest of them. He agreed. He wouldn't pick up the phone. I left a voicemail telling him about today was being the day that I get my letter. I decided to call Bash and ask if he wanted to come over and wait for our letters together. We had both applied to U of A. 

He answered. 

b- Hey whats up?

a- hey. want to come over? 

b- not to be rude but what for? 

a- to wait for our letters togther? I'm so nervous and would rather not be alone. will you?

b- yea sure I thought you meant for another reason. sorry.

a- what reason do you mean? 

b- nothing I'll be over in a minute.

we hung up and I realized I was in my pajamas. I changed quickly and tried to look as cute as I can but the doorbell rang. 

I rang to it to open it. I like him alot and I hope he likes me too. 

"Hey" he said 

His smile had me and I had butterflies. 

"Hey" 

"I brought movies."

"I have popcorn and candy."

He came in and we walked into our tv room. I put in the movie and we both got the popcorn and candy. 

We sat down and watched the movie. He put his arm around me during the movie. I cuddled up next to him. The movie was over soon. We both fell alseep. I woke up and I laid in his arms. It reminded me of Felix. I got up as fast I could. I didn't care if I woke Bash up. Which sadly I did.

I ran to the kitchen to get water to bury the memories and hold back the tears. I took a sip of my water and I could feel hand wrapped aroung my waist. 

"I think we fell asleep" He chuckled. He placed his chin on my shoulder. I really liked him and I wanted to turn around and kiss him. 

"Ye we did." I said. 

"So..... quick question " but before he could ask it my phone rang. It was OG. 

"I'm sorry can you hold onto that question."

I answered the phone. 

a- OG you hav ethe worst timing ever! I'm with Bash and you know how much I like him!! 

o- WHAT? 

a- OG? oh god Felix?! 

f- hey? 

I hung up. I went back to Bash. 

"Now where were we?" I sat on the counter pulling him close to me. 

"I was going to ask you a question."

"Which was?"

"Can I kiss you?" 

"You never had to ask, you know."

He kissed me and I kissed him back. Since I was on the counter I was elevated off the ground so I used my legs and wrapped them around Bash, bringing him closer to me. This went on for.... I don't know I lost track if time. haha I really like him. 

There was a honk form a car outside. It scared us both and we stopped. 

The mail man was there. Bash helped me down from the counter and we ran out the door to our mailboxes. Th email man waited for us to open them. 

"Togther on three?" he asked me.

"Yea.

Togther we counted to three. 

"One. Two Three. " We opened our mailboxes to see if we got packets or letters. 

I got a packet! I pulled it out and looked at Bash, he got a packet too! 

"On three?" 

Again we counted to three. 

"One. Two. Three"

We tore them open and read the letter. We had both been accepted. We were screaming and shouting we were so happy! Bash picked me up and spun me arounf the slowly bringing me down to his lips. Just then it gets worse. 

My mom pulled in. She honked several times to get Bash and I apart. But that didnt work. We both got into the college of our dreams and I think Bash would be my new borfriend. No way I'm letting him go. 

"So does this make us boyfriend and girlfriend?" I asked jokingly. 

He pulled apart from me, taking me hands and going down on one knee. 

"Will you be my girlfriend Alex?"

I screamed yes and kissed him some more. 

Savannah got out of her car and screamed at us. 

"Whats going on here?"

"Mom we got into U of A!"

She started to scream too. She screamed and ran to us, hugging us so tight. 

I looked over her shoulder to see not only my brothers getting out of the car but four other boys too. 

I let go of my mom and Bash and walked over to the car. I could feel their eyes watching me. My brothers ran to me congradulating me on getting in to U of A. I looked past them as I hugged them to find four farmiliar faces. 

I saw OG, Oscar, Felix, and Omar.
