Eren POV

It was Friday morning. Levi tossed his bag in the back of the truck. I ran a hand through my hair. "Where are you going?" I asked him.

"Erwin has a cabin, we will be me staying there." Levi stated. I nodded.

"You remember Bertolt?" I asked why was I bringing this up? I had texted the guy a few times but nothing different then if I were texting Armin.

"Yeah, the kid from the school." Levi had this smirk in his face.

"When I first met him he said you beat him up. But when he came to the shop you acted like you didn't know him." I said. Levi frowned.

"When did I beat him up?"

"High school. Something about how you were reading..." Levi smirked.

"Oh, yeah. That was him huh?" Levi shrugged. "I had a lot going on then. Kenny just left, I had just found out he was my uncle. Erwin had enrolled me in this stupid school. I was still a thug..." He reached out to take my arm.

"Stop stalling Eren. I will be home Sunday night, ok." He leaned in to kiss me.

"Yeah, uh OK. Bertolt said he acted like he didn't know you because you acted like you didn't know him." Why was I still going on about this! Levi rubbed my arm.

"You're going to be fine. You have your bike back. You have money. The shop is closed all weekend. Armin is right next door you have mine and Hange's numbers..."

"Yes, dad stop treating me like a kid." I whined. I saw Levi flinch a little. "I'm sorry, I..."

"Eren this is hard for me too, ok. I don't want to leave you..." He hugged me.

"It's just a few days." I muttered. Levi nodded.

"Erwin's going to be with me. Ugh, I have to go pick him up. I love you, see you Sunday." We kissed, he got in the truck.

"Text me when you get there." I ordered. He pulled me to him to kiss me again.

"I will. I love you." I backed away and Levi pulled out. I stood there watching g the truck pull away. It was like it was driving through a tunnel. All I saw was the truck. My heart was beating fast. I couldn't breathe. The world was turning dark around me. I pulled at my hair as I knelt down in the dirt drive behind the building Levi owned. Where we lived. I tried to breath. I couldn't think.

"Eren?" a voice called out. "Hey, Eren!" someone shook my shoulder. I pried my eyes open. Marco was leaning over me. His kind smile plastered on his face. Without a word he pulled me in for a hug.

"Armin told me what was going on. I came back to town to have a day with my little sister. I thought I could park back here, when I saw you." He rubbed my back.

"He just left." I whispered.

"But he will be back. Sunday right?" he reminded me. I nodded. Marco pulled me to my feet. "OK. You good. Want me to stick around for a bit?" he asked.

"No, uh you have plans. I'm good." I smiled. It must have been bad because I saw Marco wince.

"Look, Lisa will understand...." He pulled out his phone. I covered it with my hand.

"No. I don't want any of you changing your life for me. I'm good." I smiled again. "Thank you." Marco watched me as I walked back inside. We had a back door that lead to stairs. These went right up to the living space. It was one floor up from where Hange's and Levi's offices were. Armin shared the space with Hange, to do orders and stuff.

I pushed open the door to our new apartment. It was long, but sort of narrow. You walked into this hall, Levi wanted this to make people take their shoes off. There was a coat closet and everything. I kicked my shoes in the corner.
