Fire. All she could see was fire. It consumed everything in its path, raging uncontrollably.

Tears streamed down Hana's face as she clung desperately to her yaya's tight embrace. Even the older woman was weeping, both of them helpless witnesses to the devastation unfolding before them. The flames threatened to devour their home entirely.

"Why are you crying, Yaya?" Hana sobbed, trying to free herself from the embrace, but she was held back by someone else. Her mother arrived at the scene.

"No, let me go! I need to save Haru!" Hana cried out, attempting to run towards the burning house.

"Sweetheart, you can't," her mother said, pulling her close, her own body shaking with fear and grief. "He's gone."

"No," Hana whispered in denial, refusing to accept the reality that her older brother Haru was lost.

"He's gone," her mother repeated softly, the weight of the words heavy with sorrow.

All that mattered to her young heart was Haru. She watched as firefighters emerged from the flames, carrying his lifeless body on a stretcher. They placed him gently on the ground, but he didn't move.

She remembered every detail vividly, the sight forever etched into her memory.

"Haru?"

"Haru!"

With a startled cry, Hana jolted awake from her nightmare. She sat up abruptly, her heart racing as she scanned the unfamiliar room. Across from her, Jungwon was awake, concern etched on his face as he watched her.

"What happened?" he asked softly, his voice filled with worry.

Hana wiped tears from her cheeks, feeling the warmth of the tracks they left behind. "It was just a nightmare."

Jungwon didn't pry further, but his eyes remained on her, silently offering support.

"What's going on?" Sunoo's voice interrupted, his concern palpable as he entered the room.

Hana's heart skipped a beat at the sight of Sunoo. His presence was comforting, a reassurance that she wasn't alone in this unfamiliar place.

"We're fine," Jungwon assured him. "Haru had a nightmare."

"Is he okay?" Sunoo asked, his worry evident.

"He's fine," Jungwon replied, his gaze still fixed on Hana.

"I hope he's okay... Good night," Sunoo said, sounding relieved as he retreated to his own space.

"Thank you," Hana whispered to Jungwon, grateful for his understanding and silent protection.

If it hadn't been for him, she might have been exposed. How would she explain her disguise to both boys? One was challenging enough; two would be impossible.
