Later in a cafe, the girls were having some drinks, while trying to plan out their next move.
"Ok, so ghosts are real." Weiss comments. "What's our next move?"
"We fight them." Ruby comments. "If there's one, there is bound to be more."
Weiss looked at the other two.
"Yeah, but what do we fight them with?" Blake questioned
"And where would we operate from?" Yang asks. "Dad would get suspicious if we tried to operate from our house in Patch, and it would be a better idea to try to operate from here in Central Vale."
"What about if we get a place that is in need of repair, renovate it to our needs, and operate from there?" Ruby proposed, taking a sip of her drink
Weiss took a sip of her drink.
"Well, there is this one abandoned fire station my father used to own when he tried to start a world wide firefighting business that all the employees quit after unfair work treatment." Weiss comments. "The real estate company that owned it before he bought the building claimed it back due to lack of money coming in from the job after the employees all quit. So, if we buy it, he shouldn't get any money from the purchase."
"Are you sure that's a good idea, Weiss?" Blake asks. "What if he finds out?"
"Trust me, unless he does something shady that can get him arrested, he won't for a few years at least." Weiss reassured
"Whatever you say." Blake comments. "Let's do this."
After tons and tons and tons of searches, they found a firehouse decently sized enough for possible ghost hunting operations. One Weiss's father used to own before it was claimed back from him.
"...and then on top of that, there's a whole basement area you can use to your free will anda kitchen and bathroom on the top left." The real estate agent comments
Whilst inside the firehouse, they were looking around and the place was a MESS.
"How much was it to get this place again?" Yang asks as she moved some of the stuff out of the way
"21,000 Lien a month for a year and then after that year, you won't have to pay anything but the electric bill or any other bills required to get this place running." The real estate agent responded
"Hey, how stable is this pole???" Blake called out from an upper floor
Blake slid down the pole and while somewhat wobbly, it was still decently stable.
"Pretty stable, but it could really use some tightening of bolts keeping it in place." Blake comments
"We'll take it." Weiss said to the real estate agent
"Nice." The rental agent comments, handing her the papers. "There's the papers and be sure to turn them in at the office of the company I work for when you got all those papers filled out."
Weiss nodded as she pulled out a pen to fill out the real estate papers for this old rundown firehouse.
Later that month, after they restored the firehouse inside and out, Ruby was standing outside the large front doors of the place as Blake was setting up a sign that read 'GHOSTBUSTERS', the name they had managed to agree on for the company. Ruby looked over and saw Yang pulling up in a 1995 Chevrolet Caprice Classic station wagon.
"What is that???" Ruby comments
Yang got out as she said, "Everybody can relax, I found the car."
Ruby rose an eyebrow.
"Thing could use a lot of work, especially in the engine area, but it'll do the trick for a business car." Yang comments
"I thought you were gonna get a car, not this....hunk of junk." Weiss comments as she walked over with a box
"Was cheaper than the Cadillac I wanted to initially get." Yang comments. "Wait, what's in that box?"
"Just some uniforms I paid Coco to make us to wear." Weiss responds. "And we should be getting a shipment of some equipment soon that I had Whitley retrieve from the Atlas military after they attempted to dispose of it."
The other three girls looked a each other, shrugging a little. At least them receiving spare equipment for use was better than not getting any equipment at all.
